FROM THE EAST

New Year is upon us and I’m hoping that all of you are all refreshed and energized. We have on our plate a host ofactvites that for some of us will be tasked but I have faith that all of these can be dealt with endeavor to keep ourpassion and commitment. Again, I am calling the Corps of Ofcers to extend our patence and perseverance bymeetng to comply the needs of our Lodge.

Our membership development program is doing well and good. We raised Bro. Nathan Walker on January 18, 2018, tothe sublime degree of Master Mason. My brother Congratulaton on your becoming a Master Mason and welcome tothe fold and to the uncommon fellowship that is Freemasonry. Also at this tme I would like to congratulate thefollowing Brothers Linsao and Roberson for being initated as an Entered Apprentce Mason on January 25, 2018. It’s aquite long wait but I considered worth waitng. These are the fruit of our labors. Working collectvely, we are able toachieve great things. I congratulate all the ofcers and side liners for their fexibility in helping on our degree workswhenever we needed you.

To be a Master Mason, is already an accomplishment but to stay and be in a good standing is a signifcantachievement. On February 2, 2018, I would like you to join me and Honored Brother Rey Santago, who was therecipient of the 50th Veteran’s Golden Award. This is truly a magnifcent and monotonous accomplishment.Congratulaton’s Brother (Kuyang) Rey.

Well, in few days our Secretary and Treasurer will have their retreat. We can pick their brains when they come backafer that seminar. The Grand Lodge should have some very good informaton to be relayed towards the respectveLodges.

Brethren a simple reminder, please don’t forget the “RED Heart” February 14th..

Fraternally,

Rollie Caabay, Worshipful Master

Brethren, Congratulations to our newlyraised brother, Nathan Walker who have justcompleted his Third Degree conferral lastThursday, 01/18/2017. This is a great startand we should be able to continue to domore conferrals in the coming months. I’d liketo give a shot out to the coaches and sideliners who made it possible for us to havemeaningful rehearsals and conferrals.

I’ve discussed with the Junior WardenWB Commander Thomas that we shouldarrange the Junior Warden’s room in thebasement for easy access to the decorations, equipment, linens and other items wenormally use for our function. I took themeasurements of the shelves and I will buythe clear plastic containers for storage for aquick inventory. I will request some of ouryounger members to assist me with thisproject.

The other next project we will be embarkingon will be the side deck of the Lodge. WBKeith Wattles will be requesting for volunteersto support us with this construction.Materials are available now and we’re justwaiting for a better weather to commencewith this mission.

At this time, I’d like to express my sentimentthat I am very pleased with the direction weare heading with the activities we have in theLodge. We just need to be focused andmaintain our course. To my brethren who areunder the weather, we are praying for youspeedy recovery.

Again, thank you for all your support.
