MOVISTAR YAMAHA MOTOGP® RIDERS PULL OFF SUPERB DOUBLE PODIUM AT THE SACHSENRINGMovistar Yamaha MotoGP®‘s Valentino Rossi and Maverick Viñales had completely opposite races on Sunday, with Rossi showing fast race pace in the early stages and Viñales making a great comeback towards the end of the Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland. However, both riders were successful. The pair secured 2nd and 3rd place respectively – the team‘s first double podium of the season.

YAMAHA RACER MIKE KLIPPENSTEIN PILOTS FX® WAVERUNNER® TO 2018 LONG BEACH CATALINA CHAMPIONSHIP!Yamaha dominated the world’s premier off-shore personal watercraft race, the Long Beach to Catalina (LB2CAT), for the 3rd year in a row with Yamaha racers taking the top two spots.

Yamaha’s Mike Klippenstein took the title aboard a Yamaha FX WaveRunner while Cyrille Lemoine finished 2nd aboard a GP1800® WaveRunner. The Long Beach to Catalina race is a grueling 52-mile open ocean sprint that requires racers to navigate treacherous and unpredictable weather and water conditions. Lemoine finished 1st in last year’s LB2CAT, and Mike took the title the year before, sealing up three consecutive years for Yamaha on top of the podium of this world renowned off-shore event.
