Posses 2 year 10 months Hands on Work Experience in Erection, Commissioning and Maintenance of Control and Instrumentation part (Coal Based Thermal Power Plant).

Completed One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering (NPTI Course) and Graduation in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Tirunelveli.

In-Depth knowledge and Work Experience in Coal Based Thermal Power Plant Process and Auto Control Systems, Instrument Erection, Commissioning and Maintenance with proper Engineering Standards and Safety measures.

Period of Service – August 2013 till PresentDesignation – Engineer (C&I)Job Responsibilities –

Member of Commissioning Team for Control & Instrumentation part of BTG and BOP areas.

Commissioning of Field instruments, Auto Control valves, UPS, PLC’s and Process Analyzers in BTG and BOP areas.

Ensuring 100% availability of Auto loop Control Systems. Reviewing of Drawings, PID’s, Hook ups, Data sheets, Cable Schedules and Reports for

approval to the EPC team. Field Instrument Calibration and testing along with its proper spares management. Conducted Instrument Troubleshooting during pre checks and commissioning process. High Expertise in maintaining Instrument and Control engineering standards and

Safety measures with proper documentation.

Projects Handled – (i) Pre-Treatment and De-Mineralization Plant:

Pre-Treatment Plant with Intake of 660 cubic meter and DM plant with three streams of 80 cubic meters per hour each. (Project by M/S Eureka Forbes Limited).

(ii) Fuel Oil Pump House: Fuel oil pump house with HFO and LDO unloading/loading station. (Project by M/S General

Mechanical Works Limited)Responsibilities -

Commissioning of Pneumatic and motorized auto control valves and actuators (Auma, Rotork, MIL and Forbes Marshall make)

Erection and Commissioning of PLC (GE-Fanuc –PAC Systems RX3i ) Erection and Commissioning UPS (10kVa by Emerson) and SCVS. Commissioning of various transmitters by using HART communicators (Make- Emerson

and General Instruments) Commissioning of Electrical motors up to 110 KW and conducted its No-Load/Load trail

runs. Ensured complete availability of Auto Control loops for auto operation. Handled desk operation in DM plant of three streams (2W+1S) in semi-auto and manual

mode.
