    A quick one-point field calibration canbe performed with the hand-heldHM70 meter.

    A two-point calibration can beperformed with the HMK15 salt bathcalibrator in a controlled environment.

    The transmitter can be sent to Vaisalafor recalibration. Accreditedcalibrations and maintenancecontracts are also available.

    The display shows measurement trends andhistory up to 1 year.

    The Vaisala HUMICAP Humidity andTemperature Transmitter HMT333 is aversatile instrument for applicationswhere a small remote probe is needed.

    Flexible installationpossibilitiesFor installing the probe in ducts,channels, and through walls, aninstallation kit consisting of analuminum flange, lead-through pieceand steel support bar is available.

    The probe cable is flexible and availablein 2, 5 and 10-meter lengths.

    In outdoor environments, theDTR502B solar radiation shieldprovides protection for the probe. Theshield can be installed on a pole, beamor flat surface.

    For moderate humidities andtemperaturesThe HMT333 is typically used indemanding HVAC applications such ascleanrooms, pharmaceutical processesand greenhouses.

    For environments with continous highhumidity, the HMT337 with a warmed,vapor-tight, stainless steel probe isrecommended instead of the HMT333.

    True humidity readings incondensing conditionsVaisalas unique warmed probe headprovides fast and reliable measurementin environments where humidity isnear saturation. The heating helps thesensor to recover very fast fromcondensation.

    As the probe head is warmed, thehumidity level inside the head staysbelow the ambient level. With accuratetemperature measurement, theambient dewpoint can be calculatedprecisely.

    The Vaisala HUMICAP Humidity andTemperature Transmitter HMT338 isdesigned for pressurized processes.

    Insert or remove probe whilethe process is runningWith hot tapping, the probe isinserted directly into the process whileit is running, without exposing theneed for venting or lowering theprocess pressure.

    The probe head is screwed into a ballvalve assembly that has been fixed tothe process pipe or wall. The adjustablehex nut is hand-tightened totemporarily hold the probe in the upposition. Then the ball valve is opened,exposing the probe to the process, andthe probe is pushed to the properdepth in the down position. The hexnut is tightened with a wrench to lockthe probe in place. Hot tapping ispossible in pressures up to 10 bar.

    Graphical measurement trendand history displayFrom the display, the user can easilymonitor measurement stabilizationand process trends. Measurementhistory with minimum and maximumvalues is available for up to 1 year.
