Additional improvements incorporated into the 2010 model include a new Venturi Flow Attachment. This makes the unit capable of processing larger volumes resulting in quicker separation and improved Seed Cleaning ability. A Digital or Gauge Type Suction Meter is also available this allowing easier suction calibration and control. Power : 240V AC 50Hz 5 Amp Features & Benefits: Quick and easy removal of lighter impurities from seeds or separation of lighter seeds from heavy impurities. Suitable for cleaning many different seed types. Canola model available specifically for testing canola and linseed at receival bins. Quick cleaning of research quantities of grains and pasture seed. Cleans many tree, shrub and flower seeds i.e. Eucalypts: planted using Automatic Pot Seeders. Portable: free standing or wall mounted. An almost infinite adjustment of fan speed and vacuum flow via the Speed Control Knob and Sliding Suction Port. Even further separation is possible using different sized Kimseed sieves.

Continuous Flow Attachments:

In line with Kimseed’s commitment to research and development we have introduced a number of changes to the Vacuum Separator accessories that even further improve its efficiency.

1) Venturi Flow Attachment. 2) Flow Through Attachment for larger seed

quantities (feed bin volume 20L–80L). 3) Seed Sample Receptacle: 15cm deep for

small samples (total vol: 850 cc).

Multi-Seed Venturi Attachment:

The Multi-Seed Feed Funnel incorporates a small venturi type inner cone that accelerates airflow suspending the lighter material allowing heavier seeds to drop through. This has proven to be a much more efficient way of separating material of different weights. Even greater efficiencies are achieved with the use of the flow through attachment.

All of these attachments when combined with a 150mm Trash Tray increase the efficiency of the Vacuum Separator resulting in: cleaner seeds; faster processing; larger processing quantities and easier setting control. Please note: All of these accessories are all fully compatible with existing Kimseed Vacuum Separators.

Optional Airflow Meters available: Digital Flow Meter

Gauge Flow Meter

The Digital flow meter is useful for accurate recording of the suction strength over the entire range of vacuum settings. With practice the meter settings can be related to different seed types dependant on weight and size. This allows the user to produce optimal results by varying suction strength, fan speed and the Suction Control Flap.

The Gauge type flow meter allows initial airflows to be set; as such it is an inexpensive option for basic but reliable seed cleaning requirements, This type of gauge does not measure the entire range of the machines capabilities unlike the digital meter. The analogue gauge only reads to 125Pa whereas the digital gauge can read the entire range of pressures within the vacuum separator unit.
