Vacancy Announcement for Chief Financial Officer

Pubali Bank Limited having largest online network in Private Sector Banking with 465 Branches and network is looking for an experienced professional for the following position:

Chief Financial Officer (in the rank of General Manager)

This position will be responsible for overseeing and representing the Bank's Accounting Department and all financial and accounting operations, as well as sustainable performance. CFO will be accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company, adhering to all related generally accepted accounting principles, tax and regulatory laws, rules and regulations to adequately and accurately reflect the financial position of the Bank at all times.

Accountabilities:

Development and analysis of accounting information to appraise operating results.

Evaluate fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the Bank using profitability and budget.

Establish major accounting and economic objectives and policies for the Bank.

Coordinate and direct the operation of the budget and financial forecast.

Responsible for tax planning and compliance.

Provide Management with financial and operating updates.

Assure protection of assets with insurance coverage and auditing.

Basel lII, stress testing etc. and all over reporting requirements for the Bank and regulatory authorities.

Internal/external financial reporting.

Requirements:

FCA/ FCMA/ CFA or equivalent professional degree or MBA/ MBM/ Masters in Economics/ Finance/ Accounting/ Banking from a reputed University having no 3

rd Division/ Class in any

of the examination.

Fellow of Chartered Accountant will get higher preference.

Minimum 15 years of job experience in Banking/ Financial Institute out of which at least 03 years of accounts and taxation related working experience in Bank.

Candidate must work for at least 01 (one) year in the rank of Deputy General Manager or Vice President or equivalent rank.

Age not over 55 years on 31-05-2018. Age may be relaxed for well experienced candidate.

Excellent presentation & communication skill in Bangla & English.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Computer literacy.
