V Series Commercial EscalatorsOur new series of escalators has been ergonomically designed for smoother

Three Types are available according to your needs:
Type VSIn pursuit of sophisticated
functional beauty, this versatile design accommodates various building styles. The interior panels are constructed with clear tempered glass.
Type VL Interior panels are constructed
of clear tempered glass. Sub-handrail lighting creates an elegant atmosphere.
Type VPInterior panels are constructed of hairline finished stainlesssteel. This heavy-duty design is best suited for transit systems.

Commercial Escalators - Standard Specifications
Slimmer Handrail An ultra-thin handrail is used, giving a lighter image and
making the handhold more comfortable and more secure.
Deluxe Balustrade Durable stainless steel is used for the handrail frames, deck
covers and landing skirt guards adding to the luxurious design.
Fluorine Resin Coating As a safety precaution, skirt guards are coated with a slippery
fluorine resin to prevent shoes or other objects from getting caught.
Step Safety Enhanced Demarcation lines (the yellow resin area) at the side edges
of each step are raised for safety to keep shoes or other objects away from the skirt guard.
Aluminum Landing plates are made of aluminum alloy, providing durability
and anticorrosion benefits.
One-Piece Molded Step Using Fujitec's unique processing technology, aluminum alloy
is molded into a single-piece step, greatly reducing the escalator's weight.

Stops the escalator immediately when the button is pressed. (Equipped with a preventative accidental triggering cover)
Stops the escalator if foreign matter is caught between theskirt guard and steps.
Stops the escalator if the drive-chain stretches or breaks and prevents the steps from dropping.
Stops the escalator if the step chain stretches excessively orbreaks.
Provided with an automatic circuit breaker to protect the escalator circuitry and power supply parts.
Brakes the motor smoothly by a spring force action if the power fails or any safety device is activated.
Stops the escalator if the drive chain stretches excessively or breaks and also prevents the steps from dropping.
The guards are coated with slippery fluorine-contained resin to enhance safety.
Stops the escalator when interlocked fire shutter, which is provided near the escalator, is activated.
Yellow synthetic resin demarcation lines are provided on thefront and side edges of the escalator tread panel in order toprevent passengers from stepping on the edges between adjacent steps and between the step and skirt guard. Thedemarcation lines at both sides are raised higher than thetread surface.
Stops the escalator if foreign matter is caught between a stepand the comb or if a step collides with the comb, so that a horizontal or vertical force is exerted along comb plate.
Stops the escalator if the handrail speed becomes slower thanthe step speed by more than the preset value.
Monitors the escalator steps for abnormal sagging and stops the escalator before a sagged step meshes with a comb plate.

Should any one of the escalators in a continuous sequencestop, all the interlocked escalators are stopped. Theseescalators are electrically interlocked to run in the same direction.

NOTES: 1) When there is no bottom light between the escalator truss and the exterior cladding, the dimension is reduced from 7 " to 2". 2) When the rise "H" exceeds 19'-8 ", it is necessary to use an intermediate support beam.
3) We recommend 7'-5 " for the lower truss length which is advantageous for maintenance. The length can be reduced to 6'-2 ". 4) For the installation of an intermediate support beam, the dimensions (S+Q) between support beams will be
36'-1 " or shorter. 5) Please consult Fujitec when two or more intermediate support beams need to be installed. 6) Please consult Fujitec when an escalator is for outdoor use or a rise exceeds 21'- 3 ".
