What About Pay Cards Instead of Direct Deposit?

If you sign up for a pay card versus direct deposit you will first be issued a “temporary” Aline Visa Debit Card that will be funded with your first two pay checks. After that, a permanent Aline Visa pay card will be sent to the address you provided on the Background Check form you submitted to us. This is the “official” address Amazon has listed in the People Portal System. This could obviously cause some is-sues since the address you provided will likely be out of state. It would be your responsibility to have your Pay Card forwarded to you. Also, anyone signing up for a card will not be able to use a P.O. Box as your address.

What about Direct Deposit?

In order to submit your Direct Deposit form we’ll need a blank check with VOID written across it. Plan to bring this with you to our CamperForce Start Up Meeting at Heartland Campground.

ADP Self-Service (I-PAY)

ADP Self-Service (ADP) is the paperless payroll system we now use. Amazon no longer issues paper pay stubs. The following info will help you to understand how to

How do I access my Money?

Make up to three (3) Surcharge Free Withdrawals at In Network ATMs. (additional withdrawals or out of network withdrawals will incur a $3 service charge)

Go Inside a partner bank, present your new card and receive all of your Cash. (1 time per week, surcharge Free)

Use the card as a debit card. Make PIN based transactions and receive cash back where allowed.

Know what’s in your stash!Check your balance:- Online- Text Alerts- Automated Phone Service

Examples:Different ATMs have various withdrawal limits based upon what type of bills the machine dispenses and how many it can dispense without jamming. On average they dispense up to $300 - $400 at a time.

Alternatively, both associates could use the online banking resources with the new card and pay their bills directly without having to carry around $100’s of dollars in cash.

Example 1:

- John Picker receives a net pay of $918.36. To get all of the cash he could:

- Go to an ATM that dispenses $20 bills with a $400 limit and make the following transactions

- $400- $400- $100

- This would leave a balance of $18.36 on the card which could be withdrawn over the counter inside a bank or used to pay for services where the Visa Debit card is accepted.

Example 2:

- Mary Stow receives a net pay of $1247.58. To get all of the cash she could:

- Go to an ATM that dispenses $20 bills with a $400 limit and make the following transactions

- $400- $400- $400

- This would leave a balance of $47.58 on the card which could be withdrawn over the counter inside a bank or used to pay for services where the Visa Debit card is accepted.

A Note About Metal in Your Body

Metal in your body from surgical procedures has a tendency to set off the security system and delays you and

others in getting through Security. HR can supply you with a Medical Exception Card to present to Security as long as you provide documentation (signed, letterhead, etc.) from your medical professional detailing the infor-mation (surgically implanted metal in Left knee, etc. ) Please call your medical provider today, tell them what you need, have them scan/email or fax the document to you and bring it with you so we can avoid unnecessary delays in issuing the card.

What about braces?

Sometimes an Associate wants to wear a brace into the Fulfillment Center. In order to do so, our policy states that the Associate must have a physician’s order and the brace must be approved by Safety.

So, what constitutes an “authorized” brace? An authorized brace is any brace that does not restrict movement of the affected area AND is approved by the Site Safety Manager. Example: a wrist brace that has metal pieces to stabilize the wrist and not allow complete rotation would not be approved as it limits the mobility of the joint.

REMEMBER! Each brace is approved on a case by case basis. The Site Safety Manager must approve any brace and it must be accompanied by a physician’s order. PLEASE do not show up with a brace without the documentation from your physician!

Most of All…

Remember to have fun!

Those that are returning to Amazon will tell you that sometimes frustrations mount as we work hard to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. Keep this in mind:

It’s a job, not a career! Your time with us is short, usually 10-12 weeks. Focusing on the task rather than

what “they” should do is a great way to avoid stress. Remember the reason you’re here this season! Keep your focus on the reward! For some of you it’s the opportunity to work with friends, for others it’s to help with expenses, for others it’s the adventure of something new. Whatever the reason, keep smiling!

Thanks for Coming to Campbellsville and SDF-1!

Last Minute Reminders

From Your Campbellsville CamperForce Team!

No rocker sole (Shape –Up) shoes

Consider a nylon belt buckle or nylon suspenders prior to arrival. As of now SDF-1 will not provide them this season

Now is not the time to break in new shoes!

No braces without medical provider documentation and SDF-1 Safety approval

Be like Gumby! Be flexible! At times during the season we may ask you to help in a different department

A Final Word Regarding Start Dates We understand your being anxious regarding start dates but please be patient. We start our recruiting

year in January of each season and this is our number one question throughout the year!

Start dates are given to us by Finance based on business need. When we interviewed with you we asked your availability and we’ve listed y in our spreadsheet as being available at that time.

At this time projections are being made regarding labor needs. Several factors are involved when filling start dates, including hire date and specialized skill. It is possible for projections to change based on

customer demand, people who for some reason can’t come, etc. This projection is an estimation, business needs change quickly and we must respond in a like manner. Because of this, the labor need

projection can change weekly.

We will work to get you to started as soon as we can, based on availability.

Just as last season, we will strive to give as much advance notice of your start date as possible (usually 3-4 weeks). Once you’ve received that firm start date you can update the campground.

Until then rest assured that the contingent offer we made and the acceptance of that offer is what we’re counting on to make the Holiday season bright for thousands of people this year!
