Live client projects
Work in groups to solve UX UI challenges for two real, live clients, applying your new-found skills and building your portfolio. Your first project will be a corporate, commercially-focussed scenario. The second will be for a not-for-profit or social impact organisation.
Splitting the projects between commercial and social impact offers you the opportunity of working in vastly different environments, towards very different goals.

Career Support Program
Receive optional career guidance and support for up to 24 weeks.
Once the client projects are completed, it’s all about landing you that dream UX UI role! At this point of your learning journey, you’ll have the skills and practical experience - all that’s left is to craft your career narrative.
With the Career Support Program, you’ll receive comprehensive career guidance and support. You’ll undertake activities including but not limited to the following:
• Finesse: Add polish to your portfolio, CV and LinkedIn creating a coherent career narrative
• Practice: Hone your soft skills, such as interview and presentation techniques
• Search: Build your design network and apply for your dream roles

This course runs over either 12 weeks, full-time or 24 weeks, part-time.
All aspects of this learning experience will be undertaken online, with regular peer to peer and Mentor interactions through:
• Regular live sessions with your Mentor and classmates
• Unlimited 1:1 private video sessions for personalised support
• Live sessions to work on client projects
Course timeframe
The course is split into three phases.
You will start by completing 12 content modules, equipping you with the knowledge and skills required to start your client projects.
You’ll then work in groups over two sprints solving UX UI challenges for two real, live clients - one commercial, one social impact.
After completing the live client projects, you’ll have the option to continue with our Career Support Program, landing yourself that dream role!

Portfolio assessment
Our graduates are recognised by the industry to possess the essential knowledge and skills expected of a UX UI Designer. To ensure you achieve the specified outcomes, this course is split into three phases, with criteria to move from one phase to another. It also includes an assessment which is mandatory for you to graduate from the course.
The primary method of assessment is through a portfolio. Through the two live client projects and other course activities, you’ll build various assets which will form the basis of your portfolio. The course will lead you through the process of defining, designing and developing
your UX UI approach and concepts. You’ll document your design thinking, problem solving and UX UI skills in your portfolio, presenting it to your Mentor at the end of the course. Your Mentor will then review it and provide structured feedback through a live or recorded video session on what you have done well and ways you can improve.
To prepare for this formal assessment, you can test your knowledge with topic quizzes and by completing practical taskwork throughout the course to ensure you are applying techniques appropriately.
