OBJECTIVE While I do not have any formal, paid work experience, I have accumulated certain desirable skills through multiple activities that would make me an essential asset to IKEA.

SKILLS & ABILITIES As an employee in your business, I can offer a consistently diligent and efficient work ethic. I have played baseball and been involved with sports for the entirety of my life. I have maintained an excellent work ethic with every organization I have been associated with (i.e. Guilford County Animal Shelter, UNCC Club Baseball, UNC Charlotte William States Lee College of Engineering, etc.). I am confident that I could perform any task that IKEA could ask of me, especially moving boxes and physical labor. My physical condition would allow me to do manual labor and at a very efficient rate.

I can also offer intelligence. As a student in mechanical engineering, I have a concise understanding of an object’s movement and can manipulate certain factors to solve for a desired result.

I can efficiently communicate and work well with others. In order to succeed in the UNC Charlotte engineering program, collaboration is a vital component of studying and product development. When placed within a group, I can make the final outcome much better than it would have been at the hands of a single individual.

I have previously donated my time and services to the Guilford County Animal Shelter, where I volunteered as a foster parent and worked many adoption fairs.

EDUCATION UNC CHARLOTTE—CHARLOTTE, NC

I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am studying Mechanical Engineering and plan to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus in energy production, in the year 2019.

COMMUNICATION I have successfully worked with others through accomplishments on the baseball field and goals reached during volunteer work. While I have no

formal job experience, I have contributed to championship teams. I have also connected many of the foster animals that came through my house with friends and relatives, leading to successful adoptions.

LEADERSHIP I am currently a member of the UNC Charlotte Men’s Club Baseball team and Cru worship service. I have previously volunteered at the Guilford County Animal Shelter through fostering animals and aiding in the execution of adoption fairs.
