7.1) Flange dimensions and drilling shall be in accordance with ASME B16.57.2) Condensate from the condensate tank is considered 'clean.' The combined flow to the tank consists of cleancondensate from process units and condensate from the activated carbon filter.7.3) Pumps shall have a continuous rising curve from rated point to shut-off. Shut-off head shall be within 110% and120% of the head at rated capacity. Pump head at shut-off greater than 120% of head at rated capacity shall requireSABIC approval.7.4) Rated capacity shall be between 80% and 110% of BEP capacity of the offered pump.7.5) The maximum impeller diameter for single stage overhung pump design, operating at 3600 rpm and higher shall be380 mm (15 inches).7.6) Auto start capability required for all pump drives to be initiated on low pressure.7.7) Pump motor and steam turbine drivers shall be sized for operation over the entire head capacity curve.7.8) Steam turbine power rating shall be 110% of the calculated rated power of the pump unless otherwise specified.7.9) Minimum continuous flow shall be within 15% and 50% of rated flow. Pump calculation used 30% of the normal flow.7.10) UW-PST-41A is to have shaft driven lube oil pumps and air coolers on emergency power.
