UVAX CONCEPTS USA INC PLC CONTROL SYSTEMS
UVAX CONCEPTS USA proposes complete technical solutions (hardware and software) for the lighting infrastructures to turn facilities into “controllable assets” more reliable,
efficient, secure and sustainable While the energy reduction attained by LEDs does reduce the amount of energy available to be saved through lighting controls, these systems remain an economical strategy for achieving added efficiency. Lighting controls also bring a host of non-‐energy benefits, such as improved monitoring and maintenance, enhanced occupant experience, space utilization visualizations, and more. Building energy codes largely drive the adoption of more basic lighting controls such as sensors. Yet, those codes also create the opportunity for a lighting project to upgrade to a more comprehensive control system for a modest price increase.

PLC CONTROL SOLUTIONS - HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE (CONTROL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)
A complete intelligent solution UVAX CONCEPTS Control Systems
UVAX CONCEPTS USA integrated complete solutions allow the optimization of current and future needs The results is a more efficient system, makes preventive maintenance possible, reduces total system cost and anticipate future infrastructure needs. Power Line Communication Technology (B-‐PLC). Flexible & Scalable solutions
UVAX CONCEPTS USA INC is a US company located in Boulder (Colorado) that provides solutions, hardware and software, that encompass physical devices (LEDs, sensors, intelligent electronic devices, cameras, alarms, information panels, wifi points) that may share real-‐time or near real-‐time data with the operations center and allow the remote control facilitating the maintenance and condition monitoring of the infrastructures and facilities turning them into “controllable assets” more reliable, efficient, secure and sustainable by providing “Intelligent Control”. • Innovative non-‐energy benefits built in to lighting control systems are being cited more and more often as the key decision
factor for installing a networked lighting control system. • While all lighting control systems still function at their core to dim or shut off lights that are not needed, these systems are
also providing other features that are potentially even more valuable to building owners and managers. The UVAX controls are specially designed for facilities that require a flexible and active management. These controls allow: -‐ To capture the information which can be programmed according to the management needs and coming from different
devices as sensors, cameras, etc, based on schedules, presence, consume, or any other specific needs. -‐ The transmission of this information and the interaction with a Control Center (though the webserver) allowing the facility
managers to take the necessary decisions to optimize the resources and the operations -‐ The real time remote monitoring from any device (lap top, phone,..) of the installation/facility from the Control Center. The UVAX system has two main elements; the NODE, installed at the device that needs to be controlled, and the Concentrator installed at the control panel or switch board where the circuit breakers are. The Concentrator is also responsible for linking (GATEWAY) the different devices with the internet server, where the management software resides. It is, therefore, a CLOUD base solution, where the user can configure, supervise and remotely control the whole system anywhere from the internet
UVAX Control Solutions differentiates by providing a bandwidth up to 200 times faster, allowing additional and advanced features to be integrated into the same communication channel, making it a cost effective scalable Plug & Play system. This integration can be done in existing or new facilities and brings the opportunity to anticipate future high speed data needs based on facility management demands without any remodeling or new wiring just by connecting these new devices to the existing Control System already in place. UVAX family of “Industrial Internet of Things” Gateways are resourceful multifunction controllers, equipped to interface with different and fully instrumented networks, perform required protocol conversions, and enable remote access to exploit the full potential of industrial internet
UVAX IIoT Gateways, allow collection and analysis of an enormous amount of data coming from sensors and other advanced instrumentation networks, which can be used to improve facility performance, and inevitably the efficiency of the systems and networks that link them. Even the data itself can become intelligent instantly knowing which users it needs to reach. The Linux Operating System in conjunction with a large set of libraries and software modules provide an easy to use system design platform, making application development a straight forward task. The higher end models integrate high performance processors, with enough memory and computing power to run complex applications and handle challenging data analytics and work with larger volumes of real-‐time data. Implementing system security with standard 128-‐, 192, or 256 Bit AES encryption is as easy as adding the required module to the operating system. These Gateways are, therefore, Enablers and Catalysts within the Industrial Internet of Things.
