• 1.4 million registered with IRS – it will continue to grow

• $1.4 trillion in revenue; $3 trillion in assets• 5.2% of GDP• Employs almost 10 million people • Next decade – 640,000 professionals needed -

that means JOBS• Not only jobs – Board members, volunteers,

philanthropists

• As of 2004, 385,000 workers earning $12.5 billion

• Six times as many workers as state’s oil and gas industry
