5:00 PM - Doors open
5:15 to 5:45 PM - Dinner in the school cafeteria
5:45 to 6:30 PM - Presentation/Program in the high school/middle school Media Center
5:45 to 7:30 PM - Children's activities in the cafeteria commons area
6:30 to 7:30 PM - Career Fair in the main hallway
Includes door prizes for parents and children. You could win a chrome book! Must be present to win.

Walther Farms
In the two photos on the left, Mike Phillips (left) explains the potato cleaning and shipping processes at Walther Farms.

Indiana & Michigan (I & M) Power, a division of American Electric Power (AEP)
Mark Robinson explains the work of a line technician and the extreme importance of safety.
Students learn what is inside a transformer and the work involved in maintaining them.
Students visit the meter testing room at Indiana & Michigan Power where community relations manager, Mark Robinson explains how radio feed technology is used to read meters.
Mark Robinson shows students blueprint drawings of a new development and points out where utilities will be located.
The Indiana & Michigan Power presentation included information about the company, employment opportunities and possible earnings for each.

“We took the youth to businesses such as Duncan Aviation, Walther Farms, American Electric Power and DENSO Manufacturing to show them what types of careers are available locally. Then we had them meet with leadership from each organization to ask questions about education, training and employment.”
Duncan Aviation: “The youth were able to witness repairs being conducted on an actual working aircraft in large hanger bays.”
Walther Farms: “The students learned how costly it can be if a rock or golf ball is not removed during the cleaning process as this could result in damaging machinery, which would affect the company’s bottom line.”
American Electric Power: “The importance of a good attitude and work ethic and its effect on an employee’s advancement opportunities within a company, along with information regarding the importance of continuous education and tuition reimbursement benefits was also addressed.”

This event will take place DURING the high school's annual Exhibition Nightwhich includes a showcase of student work and demonstrations.
