Utah’s pipeline for technology workers is currently insufficient for the needs of the companies being nurtured through the State of Utah investments in tech-based economic development.

SO: A national non-profit organization dedicated to

improving the quality of K-12 science education.

SO seeks to:Broaden participation

and increase interest in science and engineering. Create a technologically

literate workforce. Recognize outstanding

achievement by both students and teachers.

These goals are achieved by participating in SO tournaments,

incorporating SO into classroom curriculum and

attending professional development workshops.
