Using Voice Recognition

Voice recognition controls the TV by using commands such as “Channel up/down” or “Volume up/down". This feature also searches for content by speaking into the remote control or answering simple questions. For example, when "Watch Netflix" is the command stated, the TV will open the Netflix App or when asked, "What time is it?" The TV will display the current time.

Notes:

• Availability depends on the specific model.

• When Voice Recognition is activated, a microphone icon will appear on the screen.

• The TV will respond verbally only when a question is asked.

Voice Feedback must be enabled to have the TV respond verbally to your voice commands.

To enable or disable Voice Interaction Feeback, perform the following:

1. Select Settings.


2. Select System.

3. Select Expert Settings.


4. Select Voice Interaction.

5. Select Voice Feedback.


6. Select On/Off.

7. Select Voice Gender.


8. Choose the gender the TV will use to respond verbally.

To use Voice recognition, perform the following:

1. Press the Microphone button on the remote.

2. The icon for voice recognition appears on the screen.


3. Press and hold the Microphone button and clearly state a command or ask a question.

4. The TV displays what was stated at the bottom of the screen.


5. Once the command or question is understood, the screen displays the results or answers the question.
