TRAVELLING DISPLAYS1

19th Century Schoolroom. Furniture, workcards, inkwells, abacus, globe, slates, wall-charts, dip pens and more, in a realistic setting. 3m x 2m floorspace needed.

Amazon Indian Dwelling. The scene is a corner of a rainforest hut, filled with objects made by indigenous people. 2m x 2m floorspace needed.

Open Hearth Cooking. An inglenook fireplace with the utensils needed to feed a family and keep them warm. You can almost smell the bread baking! 2.5m x 2m floorspace needed.

Victorian Laundry. A Victorian washday ‘comes to life’ through the utensils and products once used. 2.5m x 1.5m floorspace needed.

The Emporium. This shop window is filled with toys, games, pastimes and many other objects that would have been familiar to Victorian children. Handling items included. 2m x 1m floorspace needed.

Air Raid! The Air Raid Warden’s home and garden set the scene in this display, which looks at life during The Blitz. Includes the siren! 3m x 2m floorspace needed.

Working on the Land. This display brings you a range of the implements once used during the farming year. There are several good ‘mystery items’ to examine.2m x 1.5m floorspace needed.
