LexisNexis database is one of many IWU databases that provides excellent information on companies

Click on: Business (under Article Databases)

Use theBusinessLink

Click on:LexisNexis

Locate the Company Info box.

Enter the company name or the ticker symbol. Navigateto the Snapshot page.

Scroll down the page for links to a lot more information including valuablelinking with more info!

All the way at the bottom of the page, you haveother options for creating a company list, comparing companies. E.g. you might want to compare Amazon with one of its competitors, like Barnes & Noble.

Assignment 4:

“Locate this article and be ready to discuss it in class…”

IWU has a specialized “A-Z” tool that lists all the journals available at IWU

This tool tells you if a journal/magazine/newspaper is available—or not, and in what format

Some titles are available full-text electronically in IWU databases or in paper copy at Jackson Library

You need the article: Unleashing the power ofmarketing.Harvard Business Review, Oct 2010, p. 90.

On the OCLS home page, select:Journal Titles

Note: Have your 14 digitLibrary AccessNumber ready.

Enter the Journal Title in the Search Box

You will find out if IWU owns a Journaland where it is located.

HBR is available in several sources. Let’s select BusinessSource Complete database.

The selected database will come up

Select the year

Select theright issue

Scroll downto the 23rd
