iPads – Do’s

Do use with ALL students in your classroom.

Do use the iPads as a learning tool.

Do use the sign-out sheet in the notebook each time your students use the iPads.

The teacher should unplug and plug in each iPad from the cart.

The teacher should unplug and plug in each iPad from the cart.

Give Mrs. Dunn a list of applications needed on the iPads.

Requested applications will be downloaded to the MacBook and then to the iPads in a timely fashion.

Do schedule the time you want to use the iPads with Mrs. Dunn. The schedule will be posted on the LMC website.

Do return the locked cart to the LMC.

iPads – Some Suggestions

Avoid extreme heat, food, and liquids.

Please notice that the grey covers snap off very easily. iPads do not fully recover after being dropped onto hard floors, especially if the screen cracks/shatters.

iPads – Don’ts

Please, don’t clean the iPads. Anything liquid will damage the screen. (Although I thank you for being considerate enough to think about doing so.)

iPads – Safety

Teach students to be careful while using an iPad. (Handle like a slippery fish or a baby.)

Please, don’t clean the iPads. Anything liquid will damage the screen.

While the iPad is in your hand avoid dropping, knocking off tables/desks, fighting over, running, clowning around, etc.

Report damages to Mrs. Arnold and Mrs. Dunn by completing a damage report. These are in the back of the “sign-in” notebook on the cart.
