Sessions include classroom and in-field demonstrations with student exercises. All students will perform and practice the methods presented and will use the information learned in work situations in sessions. John HarrisJohn has worked in the Green Industry for over 30 years as an educator and mentor for landscapers, arborists, and urban foresters. He is the Principal of Landscape Economics LLC and President of Earth Advisors, Inc. He was inducted into Lambda Alpha International Honorary Land Economics Society for his dedicated work. John is an ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist; SAF Certified Forester; ISA Certified Arborist, Qualified Tree Risk Assessor and FL Trained Nursery Tree Grader; and LIAF Certified Landscape Inspector to name a few of his many certifications.

Ian WoganIan is Principal and co-founding member of True Tree Service. Ian has overseen daily operations of prescribed tree management (structural pruning, invasive tree removal, cabling and bracing, etc.), horticulture management and arboriculture consultation. Ian has initiated and been involved in a wide range of arboriculture-based projects, including mangrove management, native habitat restoration, hurricane preparation and post-storm recovery efforts, tree mitigation, adaptive tree management strategies in the urban environment, specimen tree restoration and management planning and land-use/development consultation. Most recently, Ian is pursuing registration with the American Society of Consulting Arborists and has been elected President of the Tropical Arborist Guild.

Jonathan WolfsonJonathan Wolfson is an owner and the head arborist at Sherlock Tree Company. He has well-established roots in the industry having secured significant governmental, municipal, and vast HOA footholds. With our ‘family of companies’ ranging from the tree industry, pest control, landscape installation and maintenance, he has the green commerce community paying attention. Jonathan is an ISA Certified Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualified and Broward County Tree trimmer. Jonathan’s holdings include Sherlock Tree Company, Frames Tree Service, Maximum Pest and Fertilization, and Jim Threlkel Botanicals.
