Be sure I can edit and comment. How to use these folders: When you are given an assignment that is done online like a computer sheet you will submit it electronically. There are 3 main types of assignments that will be submitted electronically. 1) Assignments that are handouts in the “handouts” section of my website. a. Go to your course on the left-hand menu; click on the “handouts” link (eg: “U.S. History links”); click on the handout you are to use; save it to your own file; work on the handout; save to your file on your computer or in the Common Folder. b. Upload these to the folder you created above (LastNamePeriod) when you have finished. 2) Group/Collaborative Assignments (One person in your group will do this) a. Create a folder for the project in your drive by clicking “New”. b. Put your name on any work you do individually for the project and upload the work to the group folder by clicking on the folder then clicking “new” then “upload” if the document is on your computer or drag and drop the document if you created it in Google Docs. 3) Individual Papers and Projects a. Create this in Google Docs or Word. b. When you have completed the paper or assignment save it to your computer or the Common Folder unless it was created in Google Docs. Double click on the folder you created for my class above. Click “new” then “upload” and upload the file to your folder. Then “share”. Be sure to permit comments.
