This resets the faculty clock 90 days in each round.

1. We are at the second box, literally, be at the
third box by February 8th with no previous
extension. Will go to faculty for formal vote,
modification back to faculty then voting and
faculty senate. If it gets held up in faculty
senate then it will keep rotating until we find
a solution
ii. POI 6:31- President Bowens
1. Members are appointed on their units and
are solicited by their chairs COB is from
RSOs to students. Determined by the college
operating files are sitting on GPSC website
iii. POI 6:33- Senator Parton. Who is nominated to
college seats?
1. Theoretically you should have, through the
sitting chairs at these councils and if not
then that is USG’s problem. This is through
you and your operating papers.

1. University administration policy to have a better chance of renting
out ballrooms to save USG money and reduce cost for the RSO so
that equipment and space can be more accessible.

1. It’s on us community to stop sexual assault and violence
2. Culture of respect that is designed to train for language and
behavior changes
a. Undergraduates need to come and attend because this is to
protect you and your peers from sexual assault
b. 1/4 women 1/2 transgender and 1/6 men are affected by
sexual assault
3. Start participating in the change with these committees
4. New committee trying to change the content and respect training.
Not the same old same old click through. Change into a TV show
that would show how sexual assault effects our world or an
interactive platform to learn new ways to deal with this issue.
5. Proposal will fall onto the Chancellor’s desk, be a part of this large
change that is about to happen campus wide.

1. Requested funding and the concern is that they applied during
operational funding. Senators were told about this, asking for a
second round of funding during funding consideration was not the
right way to go about this.

1. Leaders are not born they are thought to lead. This is for the
Hispanic conference for leadership. Want to bring our knowledge
back from the conference to use what we have gained in our trip.

reorganization

a. Johnathan- looked over minutes from past meeting in voting on resolution. Don’t
know much about the reorg. Ask your department chairs and members. Every
meeting is given information. Costs time and energy. Bad part is the students
need to make informed decisions and research the institutional opportunities. My
office is upstairs.
