Heavenly Life We enjoy the heavenly delights, therefore do we shun the earthly. No wordly tumult is hear in heaven! All live in balmiest peace! We lead an agelic life! But we are quite merry at the same time! We dance and skip, we frisk and sing! Saint Peter in heaven looks on! John lets out the little lab, The butcher Herod lies in wait for it! Good asparagus, beans and whatever we may desire! Whole tureens-full are prepared for us! Good apples, good pears and good grapes! the gardeners make room for everything! If you want deer or hare, they come running to you along the open road! Should a fast day perchance arrive, all the fish swim by at once gladly!

USF Student Composers' Concert Monday, Apr. 23, 2012 7:30 pm, Barness Recital Hall Free Event The New-Music Consortium at USF presents an evening of world premieres by students of the USF Composition Department. The concert will feature a spectrum of musical styles and concepts while demonstrating the multitude of individual voices found among the student composers. From experimental to traditional and solo to chamber pieces, the School of Music invites the public to experience these new works in live performance. USF Symphonic Band: An International Celebration Tuesday, Apr. 24, 2012 7:30 pm, USF Concert Hall Advance Tickets: $8 Students/Seniors, $12 Adults Day of Performance: $10 Students/Seniors, $15 Adults Much as our culture has been shaped by a wide array of international influences, so has the American musical landscape.
