Please read the instruction manual thoroughly before using your new device. It is important to keep theseinstructions as a useful reminder thatll help you enjoy the many features available. If the device becomes faultyduring regular use, it should only be repaired by an authorised service engineer. The manufacturer is notresponsible if the device becomes damaged or defective as a result of the user not following the informationincluded in the instruction manual.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

The following safety instructions must be followed when using the device. Please read this sectionvery carefully!

Of course, its not possible for us to anticipate or provide safety rules for every specific situation, so we ask you toapply commonsense precautions when using the device in a situation that isnt described below.

Children are not allowed to use the device. It should be stored where children cannot reach it and should onlybe used when children are not nearby. Please pay extra attention if you use the device in the presence ofyoung, elderly or handicapped people. You should also warn them about the risk of accidents when you areusing the device.

You must not attach or otherwise use any additional parts that are not recommended by the manufacturer.Using them may cause an accident or other problems with the device.

The device has only been designed for indoor use at home. Any other application, including commercial orprofessional use, is not permitted. You must not use the device outdoors under any circumstances.

Don't put the device near hot objects (e.g. oven, hob, heating appliance etc.) or on any hot surface.

Dont place the device anywhere it could slide down, fall or be knocked off accidentally.

Don't use the device in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapours or liquids.

All electrical and mechanical equipment needs to be cared for appropriately. Its important to notethat using or storing the device in certain conditions may adversely affect its lifespan andfunctionality. Always protect the device from the conditions listed below.

Using or storing the device in a wet, humid or damp environment can cause:- deterioration and premature aging of the cover and electric insulation of the device,- premature wearing and aging of the plastic and rubber components,- rust and corrosion affecting electrical components and metal parts.

Using the device in a dusty environment can cause:- problems with mechanical components, - intermittent or permanent electrical problems,- damage to the plastic and rubber parts.

Direct sunshine can cause:- premature aging of the device, - deterioration of the plastic and rubber parts, resulting in a risk to the users safety.

Continuous or commercial use of the device can cause:- structural wear due to heavy use, - overheating, - damage to the motor.

Storing the device in a frosty or cold environment can cause- plastic and rubber parts to become fragile, resulting in a risk to the users safety,- rust and corrosion affecting electrical components and metal parts.

Direct and indirect heat (e.g. being too close to an oven or a heating appliance) can cause:- damage, deformation, softening or melting of plastic and rubber parts- deterioration of electrical insulation, resulting in a risk to the users safety.

Following the operating instructions and avoiding any of the conditions listed above will help youincrease the lifespan of the device. The manufacturer is not responsible if the device is storedinappropriately or contrary to these instructions. You are recommended to have the device servicedregularly by an authorised engineer to keep it working for as long as possible.

Please respect the environment when the device reaches the end of its life. Electricalproducts must not be disposed of with other residential waste because they candamage the natural world and may be hazardous to human health. You should disposeof the device at an appropriate recycling site or by using a collection service thatspecialises in electrical devices. You may wish to contact the retailer or the manufacturer if you are unable to findconvenient local recycling facilities as they have some legal responsibilities forrecycling electrical products.

The device is designed to be operated and stored in a situation where temperatures are between +10 and+40 Celsius. Please avoid using the device in any place where it would be subjected to high temperatures,low temperatures, physical shocks or vibration. Do not use the device in a wet or humid environment.

If your device is damaged or operates in an abnormal way, immediately stop using it and take it to anauthorised service engineer for checking, repair or adjustment.

The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage that results from overuse, incorrect operation, incorrectmaintenance, neglecting the information given in the instruction manual or normal wear and tear. Inaddition, the manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by any parts of the device breaking orcracking.

Always disconnect the device from the mains when youve finished using it or are taking a break, even if itsonly for a short period of time.

In order to avoid electric shock, never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. Never touch the devicewith wet hands. Never allow the wall socket to become wet. You must have dry hands when you plug themains connector into the wall socket and when you unplug it. If any moisture is allowed inside the device,immediately stop using it and take it to a service engineer for checking or repair.

The mains connector must be always disconnected from the wall socket after use and before cleaning. Neverdisconnect the device from the socket by pulling the mains cable; always grip the plug!

Never lay the mains cable beside or across sharp edges or hot surfaces. Never wrap the mains cable aroundthe cover of the device, do not pull the cable and do not lift the device with the mains cable because the cablecan break or the insulation can be damaged. A damaged cable must be replaced by an authorised serviceengineer. The device must not be used or connected to a wall socket if the cable is damaged.

Do not lengthen or alter the mains cable of the device. If you need a longer cable between the device and thewall socket, you should buy a standard extension cord from an electrical dealer. When using an extensioncord, be careful not to create a hazard that you or someone else could trip over.

You must not disassemble the device, remove its cover or to try to repair it. Ignoring this advice could cause aserious accident. There are no parts in the device that can be repaired at home or used for any other purpose.Never operate the device with a damaged mains cable or connector. Do not use the device if it fails to worknormally or if it has been dropped or damaged. If the device becomes faulty for any reason or if any moistureis allowed inside, take it to an authorised service engineer for checking and repair. Only service engineerswho have been trained and approved should repair the device. The manufacturer cannot take anyresponsibility for unauthorised repairs or for any circumstances resulting from not following the instructions.

Never use the device in the bath, in the shower or above a basin containing any waterbecause of the risk of electric shock. Keep at least one metre from those situations andany other objects containing liquid when using the device. We strongly recommendthat you avoid using the device in the bathroom and any other humid or potentiallyhazardous place. If the device is dropped into water, immediately disconnect it fromthe mains. Do not attempt to remove it or touch the water until the power has beenswitched off. If the device has been dropped into water or been in contact with highlevels of humidity, take it to an authorised service engineer and have it checkedbefore using it again.

If you have any health problems, please consult your doctor before using the device.

Pregnant women must not use the device on their abdominal area.

Never use the device on the head or face.

Never use the device while wearing clothing that could be caught or rolled up by the rotating motion of thedevice.

Never use the device on the abdominal area just before or after eating.

Please keep this instruction manual. If you give the device to anyone else, you must give them thisinstruction manual, too!
