Avoid usin a telephone durin a thunderstorm. There miht be a sliht hane of eletri shok from lihtnin.Do not use a telephone in the viinit of a as leak. Under ertain irumstanes, a spark ma be reated when the adapter is plued into the power outlet, or when the handset is replaed in its radle. This is a ommon event assoiated with the losin of an eletrial iruit.
