1. Starting with Rabobank Internet Banking and Log on

Start Rabobank Internet Banking

Before you log on to Rabo Internet Banking make sure you have a Random Reader and your Bank card

Start Internet and go to the home page of Rabobank on www.rabobank.nl. The Rabobank homepage appears.

The first step is: Login using your Random Reader

After loggin in you choose one of the following options:

For the option Payments and Saving you have to choose for “Internetbankieren”.

1.2 Log on with the Random Reader

Click on < Inloggen> (log on)

Screen “Inloggen met de Random Reader” ( login with the Randpom Reader) appears.

1. Enter your account number (as mentioned on the Europas) 2. Random Reader: enter your Europas into the Random Reader, press ‘I’, enter the PIN

code belonging to your Europas, press ‘OK’ 3. Enter the number which appears on the Random Reader into the field showing on your

PC (detailed instructions on how to use the Random Reader are explained below). 4. To finish the log on procedure click on <Ga verder> (continue) Security For the non-public section your browser starts a separate security password session.. Depending on your browser you can recognise that the session is secured by means of a key-in-the-lock sign or just a key at the bottom of your screen. This way you know you are safely connected with the Rabobank. The combination of the secured session together with the Random Reader, makes Rabo Internet "Betalen en Sparen" (Paying and Saving) banking a very safe way of banking. When sending orders you are also required to sign with an electronic signature with your Random Reader. For amounts exceeding € 5.000,00 another security check will also be made.

1.3. Using the Random Reader

The Random Reader has 2 functions. The following options will be given after you have inserted your bankcard in the Random Reader: • Gaining access to your accounts • Placing a (electronic) signature on your (payment) orders

2.1 Gaining access to your accounts (I button)

2.3 Errors and Corrections

If you entered incorrect data, press the C button to clear and correct. Below is a summary of errors that could occur as well as steps for solving the error. Random reader displays: Plaats kaart (place card) Cause/solution: this appears when the o button is pressed (on/off) Random reader displays: Kaart fout (card error) Cause/solution: 1. The pass was inserted incorrectly in the reader: the pass should be placed chip side up. The chip should not be showing once the pass has been inserted. 2. The chip on the pass is damaged. Contact the bank Random reader displays: Foutieve pin (incorrect pincode) Cause/solution: an incorrect pincode was entered. This message is followed by pin poging 2 (2nd attempt enter correct pincode) Random reader displays: Laatste poging (final attempt) Cause/solution: the pass will be ‘blocked’ if an incorrect pincode is once again

entered Random reader displays: Uw pin is geblokkeerd (chip on your pass is blocked) Cause/solution: you will need to contact the bank

3. Checking account information

By clicking on <Rekeninginfo> (Account info) in the taskbar on the left site of the screen, the actual balance of all registered accounts will appear. By clicking on an account number you will see a statement of all the transactions on that account.

With “selectie” (selection) you can also indicate a certain time period of all transactions on that account. Transaction information on a current account can be traced up to a maximum of 15 months ago, whereas information about a savings account can be traced up to a maximum of 12 months. You can only retrieve information as per the date you signed up for Rabo Internet Banking.

4. Order entry

4.1 Domestic payment orders (within the Netherlands)

For executing foreign payments, choose ‘Betalen & Sparen (Paying and Saving). See for login procedures chapters one and two. For executing domestic payment orders you can use three different templates: "Bankgiro", "Acceptgiro" and "Eigen Rekening" (Own account). "Bankgiro" This is the most common template to use. With this template you can give payment orders to third parties. You can find the bankgiro template on the taskbar on the left. By clicking on <Bankgiro> the template will appear on your screen.

* If you wish to transfer funds to a Postbank account you are required to place the letter "P" in front of the account number. Once you completed the payment instruction you can press <OK>, your instruction will be prepared to be sent to the Rabobank computer. If you want to make an other payment you can click on < OK + acceptgiro>, <OK + bankgiro> or <OK + eigen rekening>. If you Press

<OK + Verzenden> ( OK + Sending) your payment will be prepared and you will be taken to windw “Opdrachten verzenden” (sending payments) see chapter 5. You can delete the template by hitting the button "Annuleren" (Cancel) at the bottom of your screen. "Acceptgiro"

Your debtor might have sent you a so-called acceptgiro. You could sign this form and send it to us for further process, but with the same effort you can enter the payment into telebanking. For your convince a payment template has been added with the same lay-out as the acceptgiro. In addition to the Bankgiro (previous section) you will notice the field "Betalingskenmerk" (Payment reference). You will find this reference on the accept giro next to the amount to be transferred. You also need to fill in the code (bottom right of the accept giro) in the field "Code".

"Eigen rekening" (Own Account) The template "Eigen rekening" (Own account) is used to make transfers between two of your own accounts that are registered in this contract. For example you can use this template if you would like to transfer money from your current account to your savings account.

4.2 Foreign payments

For executing foreign payments or payments in non-euro currencies, choose ‘Betalen Buitenland’. Please refer to chapters one and two of this manual for log-in procedures

Rabo Internet Banking will now verify the Swift address. Once this is found the bank details will be filed in and your payment is ready to send. Press <OK> to continue. Your instruction will be prepared to be sent to the Rabobank computer. If you want to make an other payment you can click on < OK + Betaalopdracht>. Once you Click on <OK + Verzenden> ( OK + Sending) your payment will be prepared and you will be taken to window “Opdrachten verzenden” (sending payments) see chapter 5. You can delete the template by hitting the button "Annuleren" (Cancel) at the bottom of your screen. Remarks: During the process of filling in the several windows Rabo Internet Banking does several checks on the correctness the payment details. When you enter incorrect details this will be displayed on the top of the screen. The most common are: - Invalid bank account:

“Dit is een foutief IBAN/ bankrekening een betalingsopdracht met een foutief IBAN/rekeningnummer kan niet worden uitgevoerd” (this is a invalid bank account number or IBAN. Payments with a invalid IBAN or account number can not be processed). Please enter a correct account number.

- Invalid SWIFTaddress or BIC “Op basis van ingevoerd SWIFT-adres zijn geen bankgegevens gevonden. Gelieve het SWIFT-adres te corrigeren. (No banking details have been found based on the stated SWIFT-address. Please adjust this address). You will have to enter a correct SWIFT-address/BIC before you are able to execute this instruction.

4.3 Special instructions

4.3.1 Express orders With "Betalen & Sparen" you can enter an express order by means of the "Bankgiro" template. The main feature of this type of payment is that the beneficiary will be informed by telephone that the funds have been transferred. Go to "Spoed" (Urgent) bottom right in the Bankgiro template and click on it. Express orders given via Rabo Internet will cost € 2,60 per order. You will be asked whether the beneficiary has to be pre-advised by us. This so call “dooradviseren” will lead to € 3,00 extra fee. Foreign payments can also be sent as urgent-wire. Just click on the <spoed> button in the first screen.

4.3.2 Standing orders (Periodical payments) With "Betalen en Sparen" it is possible to enter a repetitive order. If the order regards a third party you need to use the "Bankgiro" template. With the "Eigen Rekening" (Own account) template you can enter an order several times between two of your accounts, as registered in the contract (for instance, an automatic deposit). By clicking on "Periodiek" (Periodical) you will notify the bank that this order has to be carried out several times. You can then indicate in the section " Termijn" (Period) in which period this has to fall. In the section "Aantal" (Frequency) you can fill in how many times you would like this order to be done. Minimum 2 and maximum 99 until you cancel the order yourself.

4.3.3. Postdated order In the "Bankgiro", "Acceptgiro" and "Eigen rekening" (Own account) templates you can give a postdated order. Without altering the payment will have today’s date as execution date. In the section "Uitvoerdatum" (Execution date) you can choose on which date you would like the order to go through. You can book a regular payment up to maximum of 6 months in advance and a standing order up to a maximum of one year in advance.

4.3.4 Using the address book You can add the payment details to the address book for later use. You can do so by clicking on “toevoegen aan adresboek”. Once you have added a person in the address book, you can select him from the address book, all fields on the template will be filled automatically.

4.3.5 Changing or retracting a periodical or dated order All orders that have been entered with the help of the Rabo Internet and of which a particular entered date has not yet been reached, can be changed or deleted. You can find these orders on the screen "Geagendeerd" (Postdated). After you have clicked on <Geagendeerd> in the menu bar you will find the buttons <Wis> (Delete) and <Wijzig> (Change). If you would like to retract an order click on <Wis> If you click on the button <Wijzig> then the original template will appear again and you can change the details. The cancellation or alteration of an order must be sent to the Rabobank computer via the screen "Opdrachten" (Orders) which you will find in the menu option <Verzenden> (Send).

5. Sending and processing orders

5.1 Sending orders to the Rabobank computer

To send your payment instructions to the Rabobank computer click <Verzenden> (Send) or the button <OK + Verzenden>. The screen “opdrachten verzenden” will appear mentioning all the orders you have entered. You can still make a last check on all the orders. With the help of the buttons <Wis> (Delete) and <Wijzig> (Change) which are behind every order, you can delete or change an order.

To send the orders you will have to use your Random Reader. By doing so we can ensure an extra security measure. 1. The account number as mentioned on your Bankcard is already stated 2. Random Reader:

- enter your Bankcard into the Random Reader, press ‘S’, - enter your PIN code belonging to your Bankcard, per ‘OK’ - enter the number which is mentioned on your PC screen into your Random

Reader, Press ‘OK’ and press ‘OK’ once more. ( if a second number is mentioned on your PC screen: enter first number, press OK, enter second number, press OK twice)

3. Enter the number given by the Random Reader into the field on you PC screen) Press ‘Verzenden’ (send) to send of ‘annuleren’ to cancel.

After you have sent the orders, you will have immediately been given a notice that the orders have been received by the Rabobank. After receiving this notice you can re-enter new orders. Orders that are entered on a bank holiday or in a weekend will be processed on the next business day. Please keep this in mind when entering time-critical payments! (e.g. taxes etc.) After entering a maximum of 10 orders or a maximum total amount of € 45.000,00 you must send this file first before you can go further

5.2 Status report of payments sent

To check whether your payments have been executed you can login in "Betalen en Sparen" (Paying and Saving). After you have signed on all orders which have been postponed or will automatically be shown on a "Waarschuwingsscherm" (Warning screen). To verify the status of all payments, click on ‘In behandeling" (Being processed). An overview will be shown of orders that are being processed at that moment or have already been processed. The status of the orders will indicate if the order has been processed. The following statuses will be shown: Aangeboden (offered) The order has been sent to the Rabobank computer. The

execution date of the order is today's date. To check if the order has been processed you can consult "Betalen en Sparen" later on in the day

Goedgekeurd (approved) The order has been sent and/or is being processed by the

Rabobank computer. Orders with this status could already have been debited from your account. Please consult the "Transactieoverzicht" (Transaction statement)

Uitgesteld (postponed) The order has been sent to the Rabobank computer. The

execution date of the order has arrived, however the order could not be processed on that day due to insufficient funds. The Rabobank computer will try to execute the order within 2 business days from the original order date

Afgekeurd (rejected) The order has been sent to the Rabobank computer and the

execution date has arrived. The computer has definitely rejected the order. This could be due to:

- Incorrect details have been entered or the order can not be processed from this account

- Funds on your account were insufficient on the execution date as well as the following 2 business days

Approved orders will stay visible on the screen "In behandeling" (Being processed) for the next 7 days. Rejected orders for 14 days. Approved orders are also visible on the "Transactieoverzicht" (Transaction statement) screen. On this screen you can see all the transactions per account during an indicated period given by you. Orders with a processing date in the future can be found on the screen "Geagendeerd" (Post-dated). On this screen you will also find your periodical transfers. All orders that are mentioned on the screen "Geagendeerd can be changed or deleted. 6. Other options

Orders which have not yet been processed, will automatically appear on the "Waarschuwingsscherm" (Warning screen) when you restart "Betalen & Sparen. You will also receive information regarding special processing dates, for example due to bank holidays. All messages are being saved in "Berichten" (messages) which you can acces in the taskbar on the left. You can also access the address book their. A maximum of 50 addresses can be added to the address book 7. Ending the session

You can end your telebanking session by clicking on <Afsluiten> (Close) in the taskbar. You will exit the secured site. If you wish to end the session while there are still orders ready to be sent, you will automatically be sent to the screen "Opdrachten verzenden" (see chapter 5). If you close without sending the orders to the Rabobank computer, the orders will be deleted. 8. Helpdesk Rabobank Internet Banking

On http://www.rabobank.nl a manual and a list of frequently asked is mentioned. Unfortunately these is only available in the Dutch language. If you have questions you can call the helpdesk Rabo Telebanking at 0900 – 0905. When calling from abroad 0031 495 584 221. Opening hours are Monday till Friday between 09.00 to 22.00 hours and Saturday between 10.00 to 16.00 hours. You can also e-mail the helpdesk at [email protected]
