Introduction and Important NotesTake note of the following information to avoid risk of injury and damage to your product:
• Take note of your USB charger’s input/output and only use USB chargers that are compatible with the input of this device (5V, 1A).
• Only use the charging cable provided in this product’s packaging to charge this device. Using after-market and non-standard cables may cause damage to your device, and increases the risk of �re.
• For swimming,o Make sure to use the omniseal waterproof ear gels provided in the sealed package in your product box.
o Make sure to use the correct size of the omniseal waterproof ear gels to completely seal out water from entering your ears.

Charging Your DeviceThe HX250 is a sealed device, enabling it to be submerged under 3ft of water for 30mins. That means the device cannot contain open electrical ports. You will need to use the USB Cradle to charge the device, or transfer music to its built-in �ash drive. When attaching the charging cradle, please make sure all 4 metal prongs on the charging cradle have a secure connection with the headset’s metal pads.
To charge the HX250, connect the charging cradle to the body of the headset, then connect the micro USB cable included in your product box to the charging cradle. Connect the other end of the cable to a wall charger or a computer with a powered USB port.
9 User ManualBasic FunctionsPower ON/OFF: Press the button for 3 seconds to power on the device. The LED will �ash BLUE slowly. Press again for 3 seconds to turn o�.
Pairing: Begin with earphones powered OFF. Hold down the button for 5 seconds, or until the LED starts to �ash RED and BLUE alternately.
Increase Volume: Press the “+” button.
Decrease Volume: Press the “-“ button.
Low Battery Warning: Flashing RED LED.
MP3 Play: After powering on, press to begin MP3 playing.
MP3 Play Modes: While playing MP3, press to switch between normal and shu�e play.

10 User ManualBasic Functions - continuedCharging: Charge the earphones using the provided USB cradle and micro USB cable. The light indicator will turn solid RED to indicate charging. A solid BLUE light indicates the device is fully charged.
Answer Incoming Calls: Press the when you receive an incoming call.
End Call: Press the during a call to hang up.
Reject Incoming Calls: Double-click the to reject a call.

Bluetooth connectionTo connect via Bluetooth1. Press and hold the until LEDs �ash RED and BLUE alternately (about 5 seconds).
2. Look for HX250 on your mobile device or computer. If your device asks for a password, enter 0000.
3. You will hear a voice con�rmation when Bluetooth is connected successfully.

13 User ManualDownloading MusicTo use the HX250 in water (submerged), you will need to download your music to its built-in 8GB
�ash memory. This is because Bluetooth signal does not travel through water. To do so, connect
the HX250 to the charging cradle and then to a computer USB port. Press the button and
look for the external storage on your computer. You can download your music directly into the
storage device. When done, press the button again to disconnect the device from your
laptop or desktop, then unplug the USB cable.

14 User ManualEar Hooks and EarplugsThere are multiple sizes of ear hooks and earplugs to ensure you get the best �t. Ear hooks are marked with “L” and “R” for left and right side. Make sure the ear gels �t your ears snugly, but not too tight to cause discomfort. Remember, the best sound comes from the best �t.

Installing the Ear HooksFor a better and more secure �t, please remember to install the ear hooks prior to your workout. See diagram below.

Water SubmersionThe HX250 can be submerged under water only when used with the omniseal sealed ear gels provided in a sealed package in your product box. These ear gels have a closed chamber, sealing out water and preventing it from entering the speaker chamber. Without the omniseal ear gels, you can still use the regular ear gels for normal workouts and sweating.
The HX250 is a waterproof headset, rated at IPX7. That means it can be immersed under water at a depth of 3ft (1m) for a period of 30 minutes. This is only applicable to fresh water, tap water, sweat/perspiration, and pool water. Water mixed with other products (soap, bath salts, detergent, shampoo, hot springs, etc.) has di�erent consistencies and may change the depth and length of time mentioned above.
