Maintenance:• Toprotectyourdisplayfrompossibledamage,donotputexcessive
pressureontheLCDpanel.Whenmovingyourdisplay,grasptheframetolift;donotliftthedisplaybyplacingyourhandorfingersontheLCDpanel.
• Unplugthedisplayifyouarenotgoingtouseitforanextensiveperiodoftime.
• Unplugthedisplayifyouneedtocleanitwithaslightlydampcloth.Thescreenmaybewipedwithadryclothwhenthepowerisoff.However,neveruseorganicsolvent,suchas,alcohol,orammonia-basedliquidstocleanyourdisplay.
• Toavoidtheriskofshockorpermanentdamagetotheset,donotexposethedisplaytodust,rain,wateroranexcessivelymoistenvironment.
• Ifyourdisplaybecomeswet,wipeitwithdryclothassoonaspossible.
• Ifaforeignsubstanceorwatergetsinyourdisplay,turnthepoweroffimmediatelyanddisconnectthepowercord.Thenremovetheforeignsubstanceorwater,andsendtheunittothemaintenancecenter.
• Donotstoreorusethedisplayinlocationsexposedtoheat,directsunlightorextremecold.
• Inordertomaintainthebestperformanceofyourdisplayandensurealongerlifetime,westronglyrecommendusingthedisplayinalocationthatfallswithinthefollowingtemperatureandhumidityranges.- Temperature:0-40°C32-104°F
- Humidity:20-80%RH
IMPORTANT:Alwaysactivateamovingscreensaverprogramwhenyouleaveyourdisplayunattended.Alwaysactivateaperiodicscreenrefreshapplicationiftheunitwilldisplayunchangingstaticcontent.Uninterrupteddisplayofstillorstaticimagesoveranextendedperiodmaycause“burnin”,alsoknownas“after-imaging”or“ghostimaging”,onyourscreen.Thisisawell-knownphenomenoninLCDpaneltechnology.Inmostcases,the“burnedin”or“after-imaging”or“ghostimaging”willdisappeargraduallyoveraperiodoftimeafterthepowerhasbeenswitchedoff.
WARNING:Severe“burn-in”or“after-image”or“ghostimage”symptomswillnotdisappearandcannotberepaired.Thisisalsonotcoveredunderthetermsofyourwarranty.

7. Pixel Defect PolicyWestrivetodeliverthehighestqualityproductsandusesomeoftheindustry’smostadvancedmanufacturingprocesseswhilstpracticingstringentqualitycontrol.However,pixelorsub-pixeldefectsonthePDP/TFTpanelsusedinPlasma-&LCD-displaysaresometimesunavoidable.Nomanufacturercanguaranteethatallpanelswillbefreefrompixeldefects,butPhilipsguaranteesthatanyPlasma-&LCD-displayswithanunacceptablenumberofdefectswillberepairedduringthewarrantyperiodinlinewithyourlocalguaranteeconditions.ThisnoticeexplainsthedifferenttypesofpixeldefectsanddefinestheacceptabledefectlevelfortheLCDscreen.Inordertoqualifyforrepairunderwarranty,thenumberofpixeldefectsmustexceedacertainlevelasshowninthereferencetable.IftheLCDscreeniswithinspecificationawarrantyexchange/claimbackwillberefused.Additionally,becausesometypesorcombinationsofpixeldefectsaremorenoticeablethanothers,Philipssetsevenhigherqualitystandardsforthose.

Caution When Using the Display• Donotbringyourhands,faceorobjectsclosetotheventilationholesofthedisplay.Thetopofthedisplayisusuallyveryhotduetothehigh
temperatureofexhaustairbeingreleasedthroughtheventilationholes.Burnsorpersonalinjuriesmayoccurifanybodypartsarebroughttooclose.Placinganyobjectnearthetopofthedisplaycouldalsoresultinheatrelateddamagetotheobjectaswellasthedisplayitself.
• Besuretodisconnectallcablesbeforemovingthedisplay.Movingthedisplaywithitscablesattachedmaydamagethecablesandthuscausefireorelectricshock.
