Chapter 1: Welcome
I. What you will need to use Quickflix Service on Panasonic
An approved Panasonic Device with Viera Connect or Viera Cast capabilities, and
INTERNET ACCESS
An Internet connection with a minimum speed of 1.5Mbps.
Note: Your data consumption is not included in your subscription or introductory offer. Please consult your Internet Service Provider to confirm your data download limits and whether your plan is suitable for the Quickflix service.

Chapter 2: Registering your Quickflix Service for Streaming
I. Registration requirements
To subscribe for Quickflix services, you must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid credit/debit card or Pay Pal account and an email address. This is
to verify your identity and account information.
II. Register a Quickflix account
New Member:
1 Obtain a promotional code and website address from your Panasonic device
a. Press the VIERA TOOLS button on the remote and select Viera Connect
b. Select the Quickflix logo to launch the application
c. Select Join Quickflix from the main menu – make note of the web address and the promotional code to register
online
2 Using your computer, open the web address obtained to start the sign up process
a. Step 1: Login Details
i. Enter an email address and confirm your email in the next field

ii. Enter a password and re enter the password in the next field. Choose a password that is safe and easily
remembered by you; your password needs to be a minimum of 6 characters
iii. Enter the promotional code(if applicable)
iv. Check the box if you would like to receive news and updates from Quickflix
v. Click Continue
b. Step 2: Contact Details
i. Enter your contact details
c. Step 3: Choose your Package
i. Check the box that corresponds to the package that you’ve chosen
ii. Click the Continue button that corresponds to the package that you have selected
d. Step 4: Choose your Payment Options
i. Select either Credit/Debit Card or Paypal as payment option and enter the payment details
ii. Check the “I am over 18 years ...” check box once you’ve agreed to the Terms and Conditions
iii. Click Continue to complete your registration. You can now go back to your Panasonic device; use the login
details and start watching.
Existing Quickflix Member:
1 Add a streaming package to your account
You will need a streaming package attached to your account in order to watch movies and TV series on your Panasonic device.
a. Head to www.quickflix.com.au and login to your account
b. Click on My Account
c. Click on My subscription

e. Click on Change to change your subscription package
f. Check the box that corresponds to the package you have chosen and click on Select to confirm
You can now go back to your Panasonic device; use the login details and start watching.

To view your Quickflix account simply head to: www.quickflix.com.au login and click on My Account.

To modify details on your account head to www.quickflix.com.au and go to My Account > Manage My Devices, here you can view all your registered devices
and deregister an existing device.

You may register up to 5 devices to your Quickflix account. A device may only be registered to one Quickflix account at a time. Up to three devices may be
use at the same time to stream titles.
Your account may be placed in quarantine if you exceed the device limit. If your account has been placed in quarantine please contact Member Care on 1300

Chapter 3: Using Quickflix Streaming

Browsing:
Press / / / to navigate the content on your TV screen; the titles are organised into all movies, all TV series and genres.
To select a category, navigate to the category and press OK to view the titles within the selected category.
To view the title details such as star rating, synopsis, and movie/show file size press OK when the movie is highlighted.
PLAY:
Browse and find the movie or TV show that you would like to watch, press OK when the movie is highlighted and press OK when the Play
button is in focus.
The movie will automatically start once it has finished loading.
FAST FOWARD:
Press any button on the remote to enable/display the play progress bar.
On your remote control simply press to fast forward, to fast forward at a faster rate press twice (2X), three times (3X)
To stop fast forwarding press OK.
REWIND:
Press any button on the remote to enable/display the play progress bar.
Simply press to rewind, to rewind at a faster rate press twice (2X), three times (3X)
To stop rewinding press OK.
PAUSE/RESUME:
Press any button on the remote to enable/display the play progress bar.
Simply press OK to pause the movie or TV show, press OK again to resume play.
II. Classification, Parental Controls Setting

Classification
All content on the Quickflix service is rated in accordance with government censorship ratings (G, PG, M, MA15+, and R18+ in Australia). Refer to the Australian Government website http://www.classification.gov.au/ for more details on classification of content.
Parental Controls Setting
I. To change your Parental Controls setting head to www.quickflix.com.au , login to your account then hover the mouse pointer over My
Account and select Parental Controls.
a. Check the box “Enable content restrictions for WatchNow” to enable the classification settings
b. Tick on the classifications that you would to restrict on your account except Sony Bravia which is set up from the device.
c. Click on Save Changes – you will be prompted to enter your account password and assign a 4-digit PIN

When viewing a restricted title on the Panasonic device, you’ll be prompted to enter this PIN to continue viewing.
III. Reasonable Use Policy
Reasonable Use Policy can be found in our Terms & Conditions at www.quickflix.com.au
Breach of the policy may result in your account being suspended. If your account is suspended you will need to contact Member Care on 1300 138

Chapter 4: Faults and Troubleshooting
I. Basic Troubleshooting
If you experience difficulties with your Quickflix service and the problem is not obvious we recommend you follow the steps below:
1 Check if your device is fully functional with other services. Try watching basic free to air TV and another Internet Video service on the Viera
Connect menu.
2 Make sure your Internet is working; try browsing Internet on your computer or laptop via the same network your device is connected to.
3 Perform a system reset; turn power OFF and ON from your TV.
4 Try watching a movie on Quickflix after you have performed Step 1 – 3.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve pressed PLAY but the movie is not playing?
Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, you may need to allow a few minutes for the movie to buffer before the title starts to play. If the
title does not play after 3 – 5 minutes try the troubleshooting tips set out below:
1 Check if there is an active Internet connection. Try connecting to a website from the browser of your PC or MAC – if there is no connection you
may want to check your router and perform a power OFF/ON. If this does not resolve please contact your Internet service provider.
2 Overloading on bandwidth. Check to see whether other household members are not downloading large files or services that will use up large
bandwidth on your Internet connection.
3 Reset the Quickflix service. Exit the Quickflix service on your TV then go back into the service through the Viera Connect menu, play the title
again or select a different title.

How much data will I use when watching a movie or a TV episode?
You can check the file size of each movie or TV episode by going into the detailed synopsis of the selected title.

Every movie or TV episode will have a different file size. If you are concerned that it will affect your download limit please contact your Internet Service
Provider and choose the right download plan to avoid excess data charges.
What is the required Internet speed to watch movies on the Quickflix Service?
You will get the most from your service with a minimum connection speed of 1.5Mbps.
For the best viewing experience we highly recommend you limit the use of Internet on other devices while streaming a movie or TV episode with
Quickflix.
Is there a limit on how much I can watch on the Quickflix Streaming service?
The Quickflix fair use policy applies to our Unlimited Digital Service. Refer to the service Terms and Conditions on www.quickflix.com.au for more
information.
Can I record Quickflix movies or TV episodes?
No. Quickflix movies & TV series are only available to stream directly to your licensed device and cannot be downloaded or stored onto any other
device.
What is the Video format and quality of the streaming?
Movies and TV series are streamed at 480P (Standard Definition). The CODEC used is H264.
Please note: some titles may only be available in Standard Definition format.
What is the Audio format and quality of the streaming?
2 Channels at 128Kbps, the CODEC is AAC Audio.
Why doesn’t my movie have the full surround effect?
The streaming may not have the full surround effect; this is due to the audio of your movie or TV series being streamed with only 2 channels.
Are subtitles available with movies through the Quickflix Streaming service?
No, there are no subtitles on movies or TV series through the Quickflix service (note: foreign films may provide inbuilt subtitles however there is no
option for the viewer to turn it on or off using the remote control).

The overall picture or audio quality of the title is poor, what do I do?
