Designated useThis device is designed for private use.The worklight is not designated for commercial use in motor vehicle workshops or other workshops, etc.The enclosed car cigarette lighter adapter is only suitable for use in motor vehicles provided with a battery voltage of 12 V.


Not designed for trucks, boats or similar with a battery voltage of 24 volts.

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Do not leave persons requiring assistance to use electrical devices unsupervised.• The power supply unit must be kept out of the reach of children.• Packaging materials such as fi lms or polystyrene are not children’s toys!

Keep children away from them. Suffocation hazard!



• The lamp must not be used in an environment that is subject to fi re or an explosion hazard.

• The light is extremely bright. Never look directly into it at close range and do not shine it into the eyes of people or animals.

• Protect the worklight from intense heat, cold, strong vibrations and impact.



• In order to avoid damage to surfaces, do not slide the worklight over the surface to which it is adhered.

• Do not clean the appliance with harsh, scratching or abrasive detergents. The surfaces could become damaged.

With use in motor vehicles• The worklight and the charging cable must not endanger the driver and


passengers. The lamp must always be stored and fastened so that it does not create a hazard when braking suddenly.

• While driving, all vehicle parts (pedals, steering wheel, etc.) must be capable of being operated by the driver with ease and without any restriction.

• You must not operate the lamp while driving!



Hazard from electricity• Only touch the device with dry hands!• Use power supply and lamp only in dry interior rooms.• The device must not be exposed to water.• The worklight and power supply unit must not be immersed in water or

other liquids.



• Electrical shock hazard! Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of moisture sources, e.g. in the bathroom.

• If the appliance should fall into water or other liquid, fi rst disconnect the power plug and then remove the appliance!

• Only connect the power supply unit to a properly installed socket, with voltage corresponding to the “technical data”.



• When using an adapter plug or extension cord, they must comply with the valid safety regulations. The specifi ed maximum voltage must not be exceeded.

• Ensure that the socket is easily accessible so that you can remove the power supply unit if necessary.

• Lay the power cable so that it does not become a tripping hazard.



• Do not use the lamp: – if it is damaged, – if the charging cable is damaged, – the power supply unit or car cigarette lighter adapter is damaged.• Unwind the charging cable completely prior to use. Be sure that the

charging cable is not trapped, squeezed or damaged by sharp edges or hot items.




• Disconnect the power supply unit from the socket: – if you are not charging the appliance, – after each use, – before cleaning or putting the appliance away, – if an obvious fault occurs during operation, – in a thunder storm. Always pull on the power supply unit, not on the cable.



• Do not carry or pull the device using the electric cables.• Do not make any changes to the worklight, to the power supply unit/

cable or on the cigarette lighter adapter.• Never attempt to open the device or penetrate it with metal objects.• Rechargeable batteries and LEDs are not replaceable by operator.• The light and connecting lines can’t be repaired or replaced, the light has

to be disposed accordingly in case of a damage.



• If the power supply unit or charging cable is damaged, discontinue use and replace with the same type of power supply unit.

Fire hazard• Do not leave the worklight unattended when it is being charged.• Keep the worklight away from fl ammable materials.• Do not cover the worklight or power supply with any other items.


• A rechargeable battery that has been removed for disposal must not be damaged. Fire hazard from self-combustion!

Risk of property damage• Do not use the worklight for longer than 3 hours. As soon as the brightness

of the LEDs has noticeably declined, the worklight must be charged.• Operating the worklight until the LEDs have extinguished leads to deep




discharge of the rechargeable battery. This can permanently destroy the battery.

• Be sure to switch off the worklight when not in use.• Charge the worklight prior to long periods of disuse.


Warnings and safety information for the use of products with lithium-ion batteries: The rechargeable batteries in the light cannot be exchanged or

replaced. They are not permitted to be used for operating other devices, or recharged through other devices.

A lack of attention when using the product in combination with



the warnings below could lead to malfunction, electrical problems, excessive heat, FIRE, injury and/or material damage.

• The light may only be charged with the power supply unit supplied or with the 12 V car cigarette lighter adapter.

• The device may only be charged under supervision.• After the device has been charged, always disconnect the light from the

battery charger and allow it to cool down before use.



• Lithium-ion batteries are mechanically sensitive. They can ignite due to an internal short circuit or when coming in contact with air.

• A damaged lithium-ion battery, e.g. if the light becomes damaged, can ignite 30 or more minutes later.

• Lithium-ion batteries must never be short circuited. A battery removed for disposal can ignite due to a short circuit.



• A burning battery must not be extinguished using water, but rather with sand.

Disposal• Also dispose of the packaging materials properly and in an environmen-

tally sound manner. These are raw materials and should be recycled.



Batteries and rechargeable batteries are not permitted to be disposed of with household waste!

• Every consumer is legally obligated to submit batteries and rechargeable batteries to the proper collection center in their community, district or to retailers. All batteries and rechargeable batteries can then be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.



If the device can no longer be used, submit it to a collection center for electrical and electronic waste.

Do not dispose of it with household waste.



Prior to the disposal of the worklight, the rechargeable battery must be removed, please refer to “Remove rechargeable battery prior to disposal”.Damaged rechargeable batteries must be disposed of in accordance with valid regulations and ordinances.

• Keep removed batteries away from children, do not throw into fi re, short circuit or dismantle.



• If battery liquid has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. When coming into contact with battery acid, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of clean water and immediately contact a physician. If you suspect a battery to have been swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

UseRecharging the battery

Do not leave the worklight unattended when it is being charged.

The rechargeable battery takes around 6 hours to charge. Switch OFF the worklight while it is charging.

Rechargeable 12 LED Worklight Use



• Remove the rubber lip 4 from the socket 5 .• Connect power supply connector or car cigarette lighter adapter to socket

5 .• Connect the power supply unit to a properly installed socket or the car

cigarette lighter adapter to a live (turn ignition key to Pos. I if necessary) cigarette lighter adapter in a car.



• The charging indicator LED 7 illuminates red during the charging process. As soon as the charging process has ended, the LED illuminates green.

The rechargeable battery is protected from overloading by the electronics. Disconnect the worklight from the power supply as soon as the charging indicator LED 7 illuminates green. It is possible to recharge the battery at any time.



An empty battery charges in approx. 6 hours.Information regarding the car cigarette lighter adapter:

If charging with the car cigarette lighter adapter does not function, but the worklight can be charged using the power supply unit, it is possible that the installed fuse has blown. Replace the fuse as follows.


Fire hazard! Only replace it with a fuse of the same type. Check the cable of the car cigarette lighter adapter for damage; replace the car cigarette lighter adapter, if necessary.

- Unscrew the ring on the adapter counter-clockwise.

- Replace the defective fuse with a new one of the type F0.5AL250V (0.5 A, 250 V, fl ink).



- Turn the colored ring with the inserted metal cap clockwise to tighten.




Switching ON and OFF• Press the ON/OFF switch 6 to switch ON the worklight.• Press the ON/OFF switch 6 again to switch OFF the worklight. The LEDs can be switched ON during the charging process.



• The worklight can be positioned using the magnet 10 on a magnetic surface or hung up by the hook 9 .

In order to avoid damage to surfaces, do not slide the worklight over the surface to which it is adhered. If necessary, place a rag, a piece of fi lm or paper on the surface.

Cleaning CAUTION! Prior to any cleaning, ensure that you disconnect the pow-

er supply unit from the socket/the car cigarette lighter adapter from the socket of the motor vehicle.

Never immerse the device in water or other liquids!

Do not use any corrosive, aggressive or abrasive detergents in order to avoid damaging the surfaces.

Only use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning the worklight, the power supply unit and the car cigarette lighter adapter.

Rechargeable 12 LED Worklight Proper battery disposal

Proper battery disposal:• Prior to removing the rechargeable battery, disconnect the work-

light from the power supply and completely discharge the battery!• Once the battery is removed, the worklight is destroyed and can-

not be repaired.• Ensure that you wear safety glasses and safety gloves in order to

avoid injuries.



It is important that you follow steps 1 and 2 to remove the battery safely.

CAUTION FIRE HAZARD! To avoid a short-circuit and thus avoid a fi re, the removal of the rechargeable batteries may only take place as described.

The battery cables must be cut separately. If the cables are cut at the same time the battery could short circuit.

Uso en vehículos motorizados• La luz de trabajo recargable y el cable de carga no debe poner en peligro al

conductor ni los pasajeros. La luz de trabajo debe guardarse y asegurarse de forma que no presente un riesgo al frenar bruscamente.

• Al conducir, el conductor debe poder operar todas las partes del vehículo (pedales, volante, etc.) con facilidad y sin ninguna restricción.

• ¡La luz no debe utilizarse mientras se conduce!



Riesgos eléctricos• ¡Toque el dispositivo sólo con las manos secas!• Use la fuente de alimentación y la luz sólo en habitaciones interiores secas.• El dispositivo no debe exponerse al agua.• La luz de trabajo recargable y la fuente de alimentación no deben

sumergirse en agua o cualquier otro líquido.



• ¡Riesgo de descarga eléctrica! No utilice este dispositivo cerca de fuentes de humedad; por ejemplo, en el baño.

• Si el dispositivo cae al agua u otro líquido, ¡desenchúfelo primero antes de sacarlo!

• Conecte la fuente de alimentación sólo a tomacorrientes correctamente instalados y con voltajes compatibles con las especifi caciones en la “información técnica”.



• Los enchufes adaptadores y los cables de extensión deben cumplir con las normativas de seguridad vigentes. No debe superarse el voltaje máximo especifi cado.

• Extienda el cable de alimentación de manera que no presente un riesgo de tropezarse.



• No use la luz: – si está dañada, si el cable de carga está dañado, si la fuente de

alimentación o el adaptador del encendedor de cigarrillos de vehículo están dañados.

• Desenrosque el cable de carga completamente antes de usar el dispositivo. Asegúrese de que no haya bordes afi lados o elementos calientes que pellizquen, compriman o dañen en el cable de carga.




• Desconecte la fuente de alimentación del tomacorriente: – si no está cargando el dispositivo, después de cada uso, antes de

limpiar o guardar el dispositivo, si se produce una avería evidente durante el uso, durante las tormentas.

Para desconectar la fuente de alimentación tire o jale siempre de la fuente de alimentación, no del cable.

debe desecharse adecuadamente en caso de una avería.



• Si la fuente de alimentación o el cable de carga están dañados, deje de usarlos y reemplácelos con una fuente de alimentación del mismo tipo.

Riesgo de incendio• No deje la luz de trabajo desatendida mientras se está cargando.• Mantenga la luz de trabajo recargable alejada de materiales infl amables.• No cubra la luz de trabajo recargable ni la fuente de alimentación con

otros objetos.


• No dañe las baterías recargables que se extraigan para desecharlas. ¡Riesgo de incendio por combustión espontánea!

Riesgo de daños materiales• No utilice la luz de trabajo recargable ininterrumpidamente por más de

3 horas. La luz de trabajo recargable debe recargarse tan pronto como la intensidad lumínica de los LED disminuya de manera apreciable.




• Seguir utilizando la luz de trabajo recargable hasta que los LED se hayan apagado provocará la descarga profunda de la batería recargable. Esto puede destruir la batería de manera permanente.

• Asegúrese de apagar la luz recargable de trabajo cuando no la esté usando.

• Cargue la luz recargable de trabajo antes de guardarla por un periodo prolongado.

deje que se enfríe antes de usarla.• Las baterías de iones de litio son mecánicamente sensibles; pueden

incendiarse a consecuencia de cortocircuitos internos o al entrar en



contacto con el aire.• Una batería de iones de litio dañada, por ejemplo, si la luz resulta dañada,

puede incendiarse 30 minutos después o incluso más tarde.• Las baterías de iones de litio nunca deben cortocircuitarse. Las baterías

extraídas del dispositivo pueden incendiarse a causa de un cortocircuito.• Las baterías incendiadas no pueden apagarse con agua, debe utilizarse

arena.



Eliminación• Deseche también todos los materiales de embalaje de forma apropiada y

respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Son materias primas y deben reciclarse.

¡No está permitido desechar las baterías, ya sean normales o recargables, con el resto de la basura del hogar!



• Todos los consumidores están legalmente obligados a entregar las baterías normales y recargables en los centros de recogida de su comunidad o de su distrito, o devolverlos a los puntos de venta. En estos lugares, todas las baterías normales y recargables se eliminarán de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente.Si el dispositivo no puede seguir usándose, entréguelo en un centro de recogida de desechos eléctricos y electrónicos.



No lo tire con el resto de la basura del hogar.

La batería recargable debe extraerse antes de desechar la luz de trabajo recargable; consulte “Extracción de la batería recargable antes de desechar el dispositivo”.



Las baterías recargables deben desecharse de acuerdo con las normativas y ordenanzas vigentes.

• Mantenga las baterías extraídas fuera del alcance de los niños, no las arroje al fuego, no las ponga en cortocircuito o las desarme.

• En el caso de fugas del líquido de la batería, evite el contacto con la piel, los ojos y las membranas mucosas. Si entra en contacto con el ácido de la

batería, enjuague inmediatamente las zonas afectadas con abundante agua y llame al médico inmediatamente. Si sospecha que se ha ingerido una batería, obtenga atención médica inmediatamente.

UsoRecarga de la batería

No deje la luz de trabajo desatendida mientras se está cargando.

La batería necesita unas 3 horas para cargarse. APAGUE la luz de trabajo recargable mientras se carga.

Luz de trabajo recargable de 12 LED Uso



• Quite la tapa de goma 4 de la conexión 5 .• Conecte el conector de la fuente de alimentación o del adaptador para

encendedor de cigarrillos de vehículo a la conexión 5 de la luz de trabajo.• Conecte la fuente de alimentación a un tomacorriente debidamente

instalado o el adaptador para encendedor de cigarrillos de vehículo a la toma del encendedor de cigarrillos de un vehículo (ponga la llave de encendido en “Pos. I”, de ser necesario).



• EL LED indicador de carga 7 se iluminará de color rojo durante el proceso de carga. Tan pronto como el proceso de carga haya fi nalizado, el LED se iluminará de color verde.

La batería cuenta con protección electrónica contra sobrecargas. Desconecte la luz de trabajo recargable de la fuente de alimentación cuando el LED indicador 7 de carga se ilumine de color verde. La batería puede recargarse en cualquier momento.



Una batería descargada necesita unas 6 horas para cargarse.Información sobre el adaptador para encendedor de cigarrillos de vehículo:

Si el adaptador para encendedor de cigarrillos de vehículo no parece funcionar, pero la luz de trabajo recargable puede cargarse con la fuente de alimentación, es posible que el fusible instalado se haya fundido. Sustitúyalo como se indica a continuación.


¡Riesgo de incendio! Reemplace el fusible por otro del mismo tipo únicamente. Compruebe que el cable del adaptador para encendedor de cigarrillos de vehículo no esté dañado; de ser necesario, reemplace el adaptador.- Desenrosque el anillo en el adaptador en sentido contrario a las agujas

del reloj.- Reemplace el fusible defectuoso por uno nuevo del tipo F0.5AL250V

(0.5 A, 250 V, fl ink).



- Para apretarlo, gire el anillo de color con la tapa de metal insertada en el sentido de las agujas del reloj.




Encendido y apagado• Presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado 6 para ENCENDER la luz de

trabajo.• Presione el botón de encendido/apagado 6 de nuevo para APAGAR la luz de

trabajo. Puede encender los LED durante el proceso de carga.



• La luz de trabajo puede instalarse en una superfi cie magnética con el imán 10 o colgarse con el gancho 9 .

Para evitar dañar las superfi cies, no arrastre la luz de trabajo recargable sobre las superfi cies a las que esté adherida. De ser necesario, cubra la superfi cie con un trapo, un trozo de plástico o papel.


Luz de trabajo recargable de 12 LED Limpieza

Limpieza ¡PRECAUCIÓN! Antes de limpiar la luz de trabajo recargable, asegú-

rese de haber desconectado la fuente de alimentación del tomaco-rriente o el adaptador para encendedor de cigarrillos de vehículo de la toma del vehículo.

¡Nunca sumerja la unidad en agua o cualquier otro líquido!


Luz de trabajo recargable de 12 LED Limpieza

Para evitar dañar las superfi cies, no utilice detergentes corrosivos, agresivos o abrasivos.

gable de la fuente de alimentación y descargue la batería completamente!• La extracción de la batería destruye la luz de trabajo recargable y

no podrá repararse.• Asegúrese de utilizar protección ocular y guantes de seguridad para

evitar lesiones.



Es importante seguir los pasos 1 y 2 para extraer la batería con seguridad.

¡PRECAUCIÓN, RIESGO DE INCENDIO! Para evitar que ocurra un cor-tocircuito y se produzca un incendio, la extracción de las baterías recargables sólo puede hacerse como se explica.

Los cables de la batería deben cortarse por separado. La batería puede cortocircuitarse si los cables se cortan al mismo tiempo.

Costs: Free repair/exchange or refund with original store receipt. No transport costs.

ADVICE: Please contact our service hotline by phone or e-mail before sending in the device. This allows us to provide support in the event of possible operator errors.

In order to make a claim

under the warranty, please send us:• together with the faulty item the original receipt and the

warranty card properly completed.• the faulty product with all components included in the

packaging.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:• Accident or unanticipated events (e.g. lightning,

water, fi re).• Im

proper use or transport.• Disregard of the safety and m

aintenance instructions.

• Other improper treatm

ent or modifi cation.

After the expiration of the warranty period, you still have the possibility to have your product repaired at your own expense. If the repair or the estimate of costs is not free of charge you will be informed accordingly in advance.This warranty does not limit the statutory obligation of the seller arising from a warranty. The period of warranty can only be extended in accordance with a legal standard. In countries where a (compulsory) warranty and/or spare part storage and/or a system for compensation are/is required by law, the statutory minimum condtions apply.
