User-friendly, interactive exhibition communication system enabling visitors:
- To browse the exhibition map/plan online to see who and what is where. The user can pan and zoom without having to reload a new map/plan image.
- To print portions of the map (or even all the map).
- To search for company type/category, company name, or specific exhibition services (WC, information desks, cafeteria, etc.) and see the result highlighted on a map instead of simply a booth number.
- To select parts of the map, or even single booths to get more infor- mation about that area or company, thereby creating the ability to browse the show online. This feature can be a restricted area or a chargeable area.
- To get directions to an exhibition via a map, plus city service information.

User-friendly management interface enabling non-tech staff:
- To set up and organize the entire show on an online map with booth locations and numbers, service sites, company categories, etc.
- To instantly update new booth registrants or change booth locations.
- To instantly update and modify exhibition company categories/groups.
- To instantly update and modify exhibition service information on the map.
- To add pictures and other interactive information for each booth participant, thereby technically allow show organizers to set up an online exhibition to go with the real show (and charge extra for example for the online show).
Where it applies, ability to link Inter-Map to a booking system to make the flow of information from booking to marketing smoother.
To reserve booth space, the user can either select squares w / mouse or type in square names, seperated by a comma. The size and price are calculated automatically.
