Syncrofy: Collaborative B2B Software

Description

Collaborative web-based application oriented to B2B purposes — making easier between company departments and other companies to share and manage inventory data, users, tasks, messages, message rules and collaborative groups.

I was hired by CoEnterprise in New York to kickstart and define the UX/UI development of Syncrofy. This proved to become an extremely complex project which kept me busy for the better part of three years. The app is available at www.syncrofy.com. Inventory Timeline - Main Wireframes

Challenges

• Manage and order lots of complex processes into a business-friendly web interface within reach of a basic level of computing expertise

• Research and build logic parameters to relate and synchronize all such processes

• Manage daily remote teamwork communication (me in CR / client in NY)

Results

• Development of Syncrofy started in 2011. The B2B web app is still available at syncrofy.com.

Description

California-based precision therapy products company Volcano Corporation was acquired by Philips in 2015. Therefore all Volcano medical hardware, documentation and policies had to be adapted to existing Philips corporate guidelines, digital components and development policies. UI work for the most part was related at re-creating Volcano pages and content within these parameters.

• Adapt Volcano’s products and content to Philips’s corporate style and guidelines.

• Re-map content to highlight client’s best-selling and more helpful approaches

Results

• The Philips/Volcano rebranding is an ongoing work nearing total completion. It will launch under usa.phillips.com in early 2017.

Description

User interface and application intended for accesibility and sales from U.S. Home Shopping Network via Windows Media Center. The interface was designed to work with the Windows Media Center remote, back when smartphones weren’t as commonplace as they are today.

Challenges

• Designing UI/UX for a relatively unknown device at the time

• The intrinsic limitations of hardware remote controls to manipulate UI

• Make the browse-to-shop process as intuitive as possible

• Minimize the number of interactions to accomplish a goal whenever possible

Results

• A working version was delivered to HSN; during the lifetime of Windows Media Center it remained a consistent and reliable application.
