Oracle Usability Advisory Board
• Founded in January, 2008• Goal: to bring enterprise software usability to a whole
new level through industry, government, and university collaboration
• Method: identify and address issues in current and future products
• Meetings: Redwood Shores, Burlington, and Denver• Themes: collaborative work, business intelligence,
mobile computing• Three working groups, webinars, organized customer
feedback
Requirements for Board Members:
• Customer organization must be actively involved in joint enterprise usability projects with Oracle
• User experience is critical to role w/i organization.• Have signed CPCA (Customer Participation
Confidentiality Agreement)• Organizational support to attend 3 meetings a year
(Redwood Shores, East Coast, Midwest)• Participation in working groups- this is a working
board
Panel Format
• Each working group spokesperson will:• Describe group membership• Discuss group agenda & issues• Moderate open discussion for audience on relevant topics
• Board members & Oracle advisors: please identify yourselves for the audience when your working group is up
• Wrap up including general questions and issues
