Colocation Services
Colocation Services updates made recently
• Power
» Due to Customer demand for additional power in HUs, the JSE investigated options to
offer additional power to customers who require it
» JSE will now offer either 3kW and/or 5kW HUs
» In the original build out of 35 HUs there will be 18 x 3kW HUs and 17 x 5kW HUs
» Additional costs are required to accommodate the 5kW HUs (PDUs, cooling, etc.) as well
as to standardise on the HU size resulting in a reduction of the total number of HUs being
available
• Time Sync Service with PTP
» Due to Customer demand for more accurate time syncing to microseconds

» 3.3 kVA X 50% X 24 hours X 2 days
• Usage for a 3 kW HU
» R1.53 for consumption <= 1344 kWh
» R3.70 for consumption > 1344 kWh to the maximum cap of 2160 kWh
• Usage for a 5 kW HU
» R1.53 for consumption <= 2240 kWh
» R3.70 for consumption > 2240 kWh to the maximum cap of 3600 kWh

Market Data Non-Display Usage
Market Data Non-Display Usage:
• A party that uses select JSE data in a Non-Display way is obliged, before using the
JSE data, to have the usage covered under a JSE market data agreement and pay
Non-Display market data usage fees
• Market data usage fees are separate to Colocation fees
• Non-Display usage fees apply to all customers making use of JSE Services
including Colocation i.e. applicable to Colocation customers and clients of a
Colocation customer
• Colocation customers must therefore ensure their clients are informed of the JSE
market data usage implications. Customers must notify the Market Data division
(MDD) via email of clients requesting JSE data, the data type(s) requested as well
as contact details of the client – mailto: [email protected]
• MDD will verify the usage of Non-Display data, required contracts and
commercials, once all these are in place, customers can begin using data
• Any changes thereafter to the data usage will be the responsibility of the directly
contracted customer
