I'd say less "clear it with the GA" and more of make it clear to the

Palestine protestors that the OWS/W99 thing isn't specifically aboutPalestine, but you personally (and maybe a lot of other people there )believe that the oppression of Palestine and the out-of-control greedof the one percent are intimately linked.

Yeah, if it matters, it would be my opine that the GA stay out of the question ofPalestine. It dilutes the strength of the solid anticorporate focus, which it what has

resonated with so many around the world.

Outreach never needs to be 'cleared' with the GA. The GA cant 'have a position' onPalestine, because the GA is not an ideological or representative body. The GA is a

method by which individuals come together and make decisions on action and a wayby which autonomous individuals work together. It is notmerely a slow, psuedo-democratic method which lets authoritarian party-line bullshit in the back door. Thereason this method is used is to avoid this form of conflict.

The GA changes in composition every single meeting: as such, it also changes itsideology, ideas, commitment levels, etc. The 'GA' cannot have a political line for thisreason.

This sort of idea, 'clearing' something with the GA, is exactly what the GA isdesigned to avoid- ideological purity that stifles action and outreach. Isham, I wouldbe happy to help you do outreach, but I don't really have access to printing

resources. Can someone please print out fliers? We also need them more generallyall the time, to do outreach at Freedom Plaza.Solidarity,Willie

Can we get more flyers? Will you be there tonight? Or arrange with someone on the

list to get them. Or does

Or Connor do you have flyers to distribute at a General Assembly? I can make an

announcement at a GA before Monday.

With respect to folks' different schedules, I think it's important for the labor working group tomeet BEFORE the Saturday GA so we can inform the Plaza about the specific outreachideas/plans that are formulated. We're about 6 days behind in the creation of this workinggroup, so it's important to get its legs moving!

May I suggest one discussion item? (others please weigh in too so we can have a *short*clear list to talk through at the start of this working mtg)--A very important protest is being coordinated against the CUNY Board of Trustees

mtg at Baruch College this Monday at 4pm. Grievances: $1500 tuition hikes, 1721

adjuncts losing health care, Muslim student groups spied on by NYPD/CIA, etc., etc.Students, teachers, staff, community folks, the PSC union, and more are building for this. Ithink this can be electrified by the Liberty Plaza GA supporting it and blasting info online. These rolling protests can sustain momentum and grow from each other's work. We'reanticipating mtg disruptions and maybe street intersection sit-ins, depending on the size ofthe turnout.

What other points/actions/targeted outreach should this first meet-up take up?

Liberty Plaza for Monday? For anyone at the GA who may have a free moment, here's the flyer attached.

With respect to folks' different schedules, I think it's important for the labor working groupto meet BEFORE the Saturday GA so we can inform the Plaza about the specific outreachideas/plans that are formulated.

Grievances: $1500 tuition hikes, 1721adjuncts losing health care, Muslim student groups spied on by NYPD/CIA, etc., etc.

Students, teachers, staff, community folks, the PSC union, and more are building for this.

    Comrades,

The situation on at Liberty square is obviously somewhat precarious,

We reached a high water mark in terms of visits and awareness on the

    17th!!!

We had 56,356 total visits - we were at 12,283 the day before this is

an astounding 359% increase! The number fell a down to 43,308

yesterday however this is still far higher than any other day we'veseen since before the 17th - feel proud!

The number of total unique visitors has followed the same trend -

there was another astounding 343% increase between the 16th and

    17th.

We saw a nice spike in the NYC region as well although it was "only"

an 89% increase due to the fact local awareness typically seems to be

a bit higher than outside NYC.

It is also critical to report that most visits to occupywallst.org

come from direct traffic searches mostly on google however facebook

has become the number one referral site to occupywallst.org. Totalvisits from Facebook have increased by a whopping 457%.

    Want more good news?

Unlike the other measures I've discussed in this report, visits from

Facebook have only been increasing by a very solid 36% over the past

few days since the 17th. Bear in mind that facebook is currently only

responsible for sending us just under 11% of our total traffic in

spite of these huge increases, suggesting that there is huge potential

to make the movement grow by using Facebook.

It's also important to keep in mind that our comrade Bill/radleft

who's been working with us remotely from Tennessee has been hooking

many of us up with lots of radio air time - which I unfortunately have

no way to measure but which will no doubt help swell our ranks. He

informed me yesterday that he personally suspects that we'll see a

huge turnout over the weekend. Adbusters has also called for more

I hope that the take away lesson from all of this is clear - our

listed on occupywallst.org. I strongly urge individuals in this

movement to avoid posting images that could be considered "riot porn"

for the time being, at least until our numbers on the ground cycle

back up. I also suggest avoiding civil disobedience and any

unnecessary arrests that might thin our ranks for the moment as well.

Let's play some defense on the square for a little while.

If you're on the ground and you've been on the ground for too long -

thank you, you're sacrifices and actions have not been in vain, expect

    relief this coming weekend.

I also propose an unrestrained "content attack" on Facebook - let's

flood it with our photos, updates, and youtube clip postings. Let's

individually "friend" as many people as possible on the sight and

recycle and redistribute our content over and over again by "sharing

it" it'll push our individual messages to the top of the news feeds
