Surface Preparation Coating Thickness Curing Schedule
Abrasive blast to a White Metal cleanliness per SSPC-SP 5 to obtain a 1.5 to 2 anchor profile
Two coats @ 2 to 3.5 mils DFT/coat
First Coat – 1.5 hours at 165-200F Second Coat – 35 minutes at 240-280F Final Bake – 1.5 hours at 420-450F
B. GripLine 6100 – Novolac Epoxy Tank Lining
Surface Preparation Coating Thickness Curing Schedule
Abrasive blast to White Metal cleanliness per SSPC-SP 5 to obtain a 1.5 to 3 mil anchor profile
*Two Coats @ 4 to 6 mils DFT/coat *Use contrasting color between coats
Each coat at 70F, 24 hours Final cure – 7 days (Refer to PDS for other temperatures)
C. GripLine 6300 – Vinyl Ester Tank Lining
Surface Preparation Coating Thickness Curing Schedule
Abrasive blast to a White Metal cleanliness per SSPC-SP 5 to a sharp 2-4 mil anchor profile
Total DFT of 40-60 mils Applied in two coats
At 75F – Min. 5 hours Max. of 7 days to recoat + Final cure 48 hours.
D. GripLine 6700 – Novolac Epoxy

Total DFT of 16-20 mils Applied in two coats
Each coat at 75°F, 24 hours Final cure 7 days at 75°F (Refer to PDS for other temperatures)

Abrasive blast to a Near White finish per SSPC-SP 10 to obtain a 1-3 mil blast profile
One Coat @ 2-4 mils DFT At 70F – two days Recommended relative humidity >80% Refer to PDS for other temperatures & humidity
