compatible with any Android-based device running 4.1 or later, with the addition of a USB OTG

adapter. From the Google Play Store, download the free USBWebCamera app - or - pay $3.45 for the

USBWebCameraPro app version to eliminate the ads.

CHROME:

Most USB Microscope cameras used with the native Camera app are compatible with the latest

Chrome OS.

Here is the setup for using USB Microscope Cameras with a Chromebook:

Have the USB Microscope Camera plugged in and go through a full restart of the Chromebook. This

will put your Chromebook in the startup series. You can then utilize hangouts to choose which device

you wish to use, onboard webcam or the USB Microscope Camera. This choice will carry through to

the actual Camera app. If you want to try a different app than the native Camera app, there is a free

“Webcam Toy” app from the Chrome Web Store that works well.
