TO ENHANCE YOUR VIRTUAL LEARNING SKILLS

Feel uncomfortable with the idea of virtual

classroom interaction? Zoom has put

together a handy guide regarding how to

maximize the platform’s potential when

working from home.

Yes, most definitely and each LPF has received remote learning facilitator training. In a remote learning context, the role of a Learning Process Facilitator (LPF) will be even more crucial, as they will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that participant engagement levels are maintained

• Ensuring that session outcomes are achieved

• Ensuring facilitators address all questions and concerns fairlyand clearly

• Managing daily check-ins and check-outs

• Integrating content to the workplace

• Integrating content to the Business Driven Action Learning(BDAL)

In addition to the this:

• LPF’s will provide ongoing individual coaching and supportto ensure the smooth transition of participants from Face-to-Face to Remote Learning

• LPF’s clarify the rules of remote engagement such thatengagement and interaction can be optimised

• LPF’s monitor and mediate all verbal discussion as well astyped comments on group chat, drawing the facilitatorsattention to these where relevant.

• LPF’s introduce concepts and allow for self-study/case studywork and then feedback

• LPF’s encourage remote group work via remote platforms(e.g. Zoom/ phone/ skype/WhatsApp)

In an effort to support the social distancing protocol that has emerged as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, USB-ED has put measures in place to ensure that the learning experience we provide to our clients is still of the highest quality. In light of this, we will be moving from a face-to-face mode of delivery to a remote learning mode of delivery. Please see the below information regarding how we will roll this out.
