Marquis Culinary CentreThe Marquis Culinary Centre is the hub of our food services operation. Anyone on campus is welcome to join us in our all-you-can-dine Culinary Centre, offering a wide variety of items including Canadian and international dishes. Stop by for a one-time cash purchase, or purchase a meal plan online. Enjoy your meal in our beautiful dining hall overlooking the Bowl. All residents of Voyageur Place receive the Unlimited Meal Plan. The Unlimited Meal Plan allows access to the Marquis Dining Hall during operating hours with great flexibility.

VOYAGEUR PLACELocated at the heart of the University of Saskatchewan campus, Voyageur Place is made up of four halls which are all connected by tunnels and skywalks to other buildings on campus, a popular feature during the winter.
Accommodation in Voyageur Place includes utilities, internet, laundry and the Unlimited Meal Plan. The Unlimited Meal Plan allows access to the Marquis Dining Hall during operating hours with great flexibility.
Voyageur Place buildings offer traditional, dormitory-style, single and double units in a variety of different layouts. The floorplans below are examples of some of these units, but do not represent all specific room layouts.

SEAGER WHEELERSeager Wheeler is a Residence building located just south of the main campus. It is part of McEown Park, a group of four high-rise buildings. These four buildings include Assiniboine Hall and Wollaston Hall (one and two bedroom units for upper-year students), Souris Hall (two bedroom units for students with children) and Seager Wheeler (six bedroom units for single students).

You are only a short walk from all of your classes and have the added benefit of being part of an engaged community in Saskatoon with a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

We recommend that students apply for Residence as soon as possible after they apply for admission. You do not have to wait to receive an offer of admission before you apply for Residence. Students entering their first year of studies at USask will receive guaranteed placement at Voyageur Place Residence if they apply for Residence before January 31, 2020.

If you live in Saskatchewan, you may choose to learn where you live and complete a few classes or your entire degree at one of our off-campus sites.
The University of Saskatchewan (USask) has partnered with Saskatchewan education institutions for over 40 years to provide students with opportunities to study and learn close to home.
Today, approximately 1,500 USask students study at off-campus sites through face-to-face, online, independent study and live-streamed classes.
You can begin your USask program and, in some cases, complete a degree without leaving your home community. This flexibility will allow you greater balance with family, work and other life commitments. Smaller class sizes with more student/teacher interaction, program and career counselling, essay writing support, tutorials and course-focused group discussions are available at all off-campus sites.

STUDENT LEARNING SERVICESStudent Learning Services (SLS) helps students make the most out of their academic experience at USask. SLS offers workshops, online resources and tutors to help students with writing, studying, math and statistics.
USSU CENTRESThe University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union (USSU) operates a number of centres for enhancing the student experience. These centres include the Women’s Centre, Pride Centre, Help Centre, and Food Centre. The USSU centres are open to all students, and provide resources, support and services in a warm, positive atmosphere.

Starting university is one of the biggest transitions you will make in life. At the University of Saskatchewan (USask) we have supports in place to help you through this transition and your university career.
ACCESS AND EQUITY SERVICESAccess and Equity Services is guided by Saskatchewan’s Human Rights legislation and the duty to accommodate individuals based on a medical or learning disability, religion, family status (including pregnancy) or gender identity. Services include exam/academic accommodations, notetaking, classroom changes, alternate format textbooks, assistive technology and academic strategy.
THERAPY DOGSSt. John Ambulance therapy dogs visit campus frequently to help students de-stress. Petting a dog can increase levels of the stress-reducing hormone oxytocin and decrease the production of the stress hormone cortisol.

LEARNING COMMUNITIESLearn to adapt more quickly to university and benefit from the mentorship of successful upper-year students by registering in a Learning Community (LC) in your college.
In an LC, you will get to know a small group of other new students who are taking some of the same courses as you—courses that you share an interest in, or courses that are part of your degree requirements.
Participating in a LC is one of the best ways for you to take charge of your learning and to develop skills to help you succeed in this new academic environment. It is also a great opportunity to make new friends!
STUDENT WELLNESS CENTREThe Student Wellness Centre offers urgent and non-urgent physical and mental health care to USask students and their spouses and children.
CHILDCARE AND COMMUNITY USask operates three child-care centres and offers convenient breastfeeding locations for nursing mothers. In addition, Parents on Campus is a community group focused on providing support, advocacy and events for USask families.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AND STUDY ABROAD CENTREVisit the International Student and Study Abroad Centre to meet students from around the world, learn about opportunities to study abroad or access services for international students.
ABORIGINAL STUDENTS' CENTREStaff at the Aboriginal Students' Centre (ASC) are committed to supporting the personal and academic success of Métis, First Nations and Inuit students. ASC creates an inclusive community through personal, social, cultural and academic programs and services held throughout the academic year.

Guaranteed Entrance Scholarships You will automatically be considered for a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship when you apply for admission. These scholarships recognize your academic achievements and are awarded based on your admission average.

Competitive Entrance Awards include numerous schol-arships and bursaries that can be accessed by many students with diverse experiences. Applicants can be considered based on academic achievement, financial need and/or contributions to school and community life, and some awards recognize particular backgrounds, acknowledge contributions to certain clubs and/or reward achievement in music and athletics. All entering students are encouraged to apply.
At the University of Saskatchewan, entering students are eligible to receive a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship in addition to a Best and Brightest Entrance Scholarship or Competitive Entrance Award.

Plan Your FinancesTUITIONTuition for most undergraduate programs at USask is calculated by adding up the cost of each individual class in which you enroll. For many programs, there is a wide range of classes from which you can choose, giving you a great deal of flexibility in terms of your schedule and budget.
Student fees are used to fund specific student benefits offered as part of your university education. These include fees to support athletics and recreation programs, student services, health and dental plans, your students’ union and the U-Pass Universal Transit Pass that allows you unlimited travel during the school year with Saskatoon Transit.
