Applications will no longer rollover to the next board. Applicants cannot reapply until 180 or more days has transpired between the previous application’s date of final disposition to the future board convening date IAW AFI 36-2013, Table 1.1., rules 27 and 30; AFRSI 36-2001, Table 1.1., Rule 48. (Applies to all applicants) 2. Non-Rated applicants will no longer complete an initial commissioning physical prior to meeting a board. They are required to submit a DD Form 2807-2 to their respective MEPS CMO to have a medical prescreen conducted prior to subm itting an application to AFRS. The MEPS liaison must enter comments in AFRISS stating the applicant is cleared to process. If the CMO does not clear the applicant to process they must get permission from the AETC/SG to physical. Only those identified as tentative selects of an LO board will go on to complete the MEPS physical. Rated applicants will continue to complete the initial commissioning physical prior to meeting a board so as not to slow the Flying Class physical process down after they have been selected. (Recruiter applicants only) 3. The degrees eligible for the Critical Accession Degree Program have been changed. The eligible degrees are ABET accredited Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or active duty enlisted weather technicians who meet weather officer (15W1) requirements as outlined in the Line Officer Accessions BOT Program Guide for Active Duty AF enlisted. (Applies to all applicants) 4. BOT applicants must meet minimum grade point average (GPA) criteria for the various sub- programs. The Non-Technical program GPA is 3.0; Rated program GPA is 2.5; and TDSP GPA remains 3.0. Applicants can apply for waiver consideration if they have a cumulative total of 150 or higher when totaling the Air Force Officer Qualification Test (AFOQT) sub-composite scores academic adaptability (AA), verbal (V) and quantitative (Q). (Applies to all applicants) 5. The qualifying GPA will come from the applicant’s qualifying bachelor conferred degree or current GPA from undergraduate qualifying degree program. The graduate degree GPA will be used if an applicant has a graduate degree or higher without a bachelors degree. Applicant will enter qualifying degree type, title and GPA on AFRSI FM 1360 front cover. (Table 1, Note 3 and section 12.1) (Applies to all applicants)  6. 7. Application must be in place with AFRS/RSOCL NLT the application cut-off date.Postmarks will no longer qualify applications as being “on-time” if application is received after

the cut-off date. Refer to board schedule below for cut-off dates. (Applies to all applicants)

8. Active Duty and prior enlisted applicants must provide copies of award memorandums and/or

certificates if awards are not listed on Record Review Report, or similar; or on applicant’sperformance reports. Place copies in brown folder. (Applies to all applicants, as applicable)

9. Unit commanders for active duty AF members are required to request review of member’s

master personnel file located at the AF Personnel center for derogatory information. A copy of 

AFPC/DPSIR response is required in application as an attachment with Attachment 2, UCMJ

Quality Force Review Letter. (AD AF enlisted applicants only)

10. The AF Form 56 and the Letter of Recommendation cannot be more than 180 days old fromthe board convening date. (Applies to all applicants)

11. All active duty AF enlisted, AF Reserve and Air National Guard must have VMPF RecordReview/Update report and the AMSNET Enlisted SURF in their application. (Applies to all

applicants, as applicable)

12. All recruiter processed selects that decline must complete Attachment 10, “ Declination Worksheet” found in the LO RIC Handbook. (Recruiter applicants only)

13. All Air Force Guard and Reserve selects will need to complete Attachment 11, “ Request   for   Relocation  Information” form and submit to AFRS after being notified of their select status.

14. Attachment 12, “Pre-EAD Checklist” must be completed no sooner than 15 and no later than

5 days prior to civilian selects entering active duty. (Recruiter applicants only)
