The Special Advisor Program was established in 2007 with the goal of applying private-sector best practices in the
government environment. The program is based in the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy, but works across all Secret Service Directorates. Project examples have included:
Designing a marketing strategy to drive engagement with the public, including an assessment of the Secret Service brand.
Developing a forecasting tool for the Special Agent and Uniformed Division Officer hiring process.
Creating financial models for cost projections associated with Presidential campaign activities.
Analyzing and coordinating a business case for the Service’s Fully Armored Vehicles program.
Assessing the Service’s need, readiness, and implementation
costs of switching to a tiered-security clearance system.
Evaluating Vice Presidential Protective Division needs to recommend organizational structure changes.

Employment Requirements
• Graduating MBA or recent alumni
• At least 3 years of work experience
• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance- Rigorous background investigation- Drug screening
