• HRSA– Over 6 decades ago, the Rehabilitation Services

Program was assembled at the then National Hansen’s Disease Center in Carville, Louisiana composed of surgeons, therapists, and engineers. Today, the National Hansen’s Disease Programs, now located in Baton Rouge, LA, has contributed surgical and rehabilitation techniques to numerous treatment programs in hand, foot and ankle, orthopedic and plastic surgery, Hansen’s disease (leprosy), and related disease treatment programs worldwide.
