◦ A 275 gallon oil filled circuit breaker failed, explored and burned
◦ PCB contaminated immediate residential area
◦ The oil contained 12 ppm PCB

◦ A fire consumed 22 homes.
◦ Provided post-fire assessment with Ecology
◦ Provided technical assistance of post-fire drum disposal

Unknown Drum
◦ 55 gallon drum with unknown contents was left on the Lummi Reservation in Ferndale, WA
◦ the Lummi Police and Whatcom County Fire Department were concerned that the drum may contain hazardous substances
◦ The drum was assessed and removed for disposal

Pettit Oil Spill Chalaat Creek
◦ Fuel tanker truck crashes, spills fuel into creek near Fork
◦ Responders from multiple agencies were on the scene of an overturned tanker-truck on Highway 101 near Forks
◦ Ecology, Department of Fish and Wildlife and EPA worked with the Hoh Tribe and Pettit Oil to clean up the remaining diesel and monitor for natural resource impact
