race followed by blacks who were there from the slave trade.

• The total ethnicity population, other than blacks ,was less than a 1 million

• Blacks made up 1/ 5th of the united states in 1790 and declined till 1930 when population went up

• The American flag only had 48 stars in the 1930’s

• Gained 48 in stars in 1912

• In 1959 one star was added and one more the next year

• First ever flag only had 13 stars representing the colonies
