Technology (Tech) DivisionIntroduction Technology Division provides support to USCIS Office of Information Technology (OIT),

purchasing commodities and services to meet the mission.

Customers In addition to the Chief Information Officer, OIT is divided into six (6) primary divisions. The divisions are Applied Technology Division, Engineering Infrastructure Division, Systems Delivery Division, Transformation Delivery Division, Information Security Division, and Identity, Records, and National Security Delivery Division.

Type of Acquisitions Tech utilizes Department-wide Strategic Sourcing contracts such as EAGLE II and FirstSource II. EAGLE II is used to procure IT services, and Firstsource II is used to procure software and hardware to include software assurance and hardware maintenance via FAR Subpart 16.505(b) Fair Opportunity.
