Nephrostomy Drainage Set

Direct Puncture

Designed for percutaneous Nephrostomy following the «direct-puncture» technique particularly when there is a dilated urine collection system, a hydronephrosis.

The catheter is back-loaded on a two-part trocar needle and straightened and then introduced through a skin incision directly.

The procedure does away with the use of guidewire and fascial dilators as there is no dilatation performed.

The set may also be used for cyst and abscess drainage.
