lthough we have many standard benches as starting

points, you can mix and match the timbers, legs

and sizes. The only limitation is your imagination.

Choice of timbers.

We use a variety of hardwoods depending on specification, such as sapele,

cumaru, iroku and balau. These can be oiled or simply left natural. The thickness/

chunkiness of the timber can also be modified to suit your requirements.

Choice of legs

I-beam, tapered stainless steel, boxed galvanised metal, all of which can be left raw

or powder coated in any RAL colour.

Our standard seat height of 450mm is designed for general comfort, however this

can be altered, along with lengths and widths, to suit your requirements.

Some of the larger sizes are perfect for trees and shrubs and are used in

communal areas as street furniture

All of the floating benches have a cantilever

seat arrangement on stainless steel brackets.

Large GRP troughs can bolted together to

create a planting bed with floating seating.

A choice of timbers can go on one, two, three

or all four sides of the planter.

BENCH9 (page 8) has a floating seat with

sloping back for those who prefer a more

ergonomic seating environment.

BENCH8 is made from GRP with a cantilevered

hardwood timber seat. The seat height is 450mm as

standard but this can easily be altered.

The Curved Planter Bench will create a 4 metre circle

when multiples are placed together. Available in any

RAL colour and with a choice of timbers.

The chunky timber seating on BENCH11 show timber

can be added to the curved trough which can be

fitted to the full or half length of the curved planter.

This gives a place for planting as well as a place to sit!

As a single unit the curved bench is perfect for small

gardens yet as a group it works equally well in a large

communal area.

On stainless steel legs BENCH12 can be used as a

stand alone bench or made to fit the internal or external

radius of the curved trough planter.

O ur Street planters are made from strong durable GRP built with

reinforced walls to ensure robust security. They can be used as a traffic deterrent

and strong barriers for pedestrian areas, as many, when planted up will weigh over

2 tonnes.

Often temporary barriers are required so instant hedges or tree displays can be

placed in-situ for an event by using our planters (which are built with forklift truck

access in the base).

Planters and screening are often used to create recreational areas for restaurants,

cafés and pubs attracting people who enjoy sitting outside while also adding curb

appeal. Lighting and signage can also be included to illuminate a pathway or

signpost a location.

Many of our planters can be attached together to make large planting beds and

can have seating incorporated (see Planter Bench pages) creating communal areas.
