progress which meets all our needs without leaving future generations with fewer resources than

we enjoy.

places. Secondly through economy development and lastly to conserve land lastly for integration.

A city can be well design if there is centralized policies compact and designed to minimize the

use of motorized vehicles, short cycles of integration of development.

Monitoring the physical environment will be my first recommendation. I will use

evaluation and feedback for both internal and external purposes because it is necessary to

maintain accountability among the stakeholder participants in the implementation of an Action

Plan.

With the guides provided from agenda 21, I can recommend that the improvement of the

municipal sector performance be mobilize by focusing on the available resources in our

community and also address the sustainable development challenge at local level basic.

For my action plans to the Mayor will be:

Engaging in wide variety of partners including women, youth, poor, etc. in partnership

groups.

Obtain explicit support from the mayor and councillors, and their engagement in the

partnership group.

Create a communication and information sharing strategy.

Provide a secured budget and staff for partnership groups.

Ensure clear terms of reference for the group's mandate.

Establish an explicit structure for the partnership, as well as clear procedures for

decision-making and conflict resolution.

Garner clear commitments from partnership group members.

Create partnership groups that are resilient to political change.

Another key recommendation to our Mayor will be on focusing on the objective of

sustainable development which is to integrate economic, social and environmental policies in

order to achieve reduced consumption, social equity, and the preservation and restoration of

biodiversity.
