5 Tips for a Perfect Hot Yoga Session by Katherine Ahn Hot yoga is the best way kill two birds with one stone. While it de-stresses, it also is a killer workout. Practicing vinyasa flows in a 100 degrees studio is harder than many realize. I love to unwind a stressful day or start the day refreshingly with hot yoga. To pair with my hot yoga sessions, there are 5 things that I like to have to make sure I have a superior experience. 1. Lululemon http://www.lululemon.com The most stylish and made with top notch quality, a pair of Lululemon leggings and top allow me to sweat comfortably in style. Trendy + quality = stylish yogi. 2. Manduka Yoga Mat http://www.manduka.com/ Although these mats are a little pricy, they are definitely worth every dollar. Manduka mats (especially the PRO versions) allow me to go through various poses without slipping as I sweat.

3. Yogitoes Yoga Towels http://yogitoes.com/yogitoes-yoga-towels It may seem like these products are unnecessary, but trust me, these will help to elevate your practice. The Yogitoes yoga mat towels help to absorb the sweat and further the grip on the mat. These Yogitoes towels are all the rave within the yogi community.

4. Nékter Juice Bar https://www.nekterjuicebar.com/ Pre or post hot yoga session, I like having one of Nékter’s green juices/smoothies or açai bowls. There are endless and delicious green juice/smoothie and açai bowl options

available. Not only are they healthy, they are the perfect snack to have to feel refreshed before or after yoga. My all time favorites are the chocolate dream smoothie, the greenie juice, and açai banana berry bowl. Nékter also sells juice cleanses on their website (they deliver, too)

5. CameBak water bottle http://www.camelbak.com/ Sweating = dehydration = thirst. To quench the thirst during practice, I like to bring my CamelBak water bottle due to its easily accessible straw. All I need to do is flip, bite, and sip the straw without tilting the bottle. Bonus: it’s fun and spill proof!
