In the heart of DevonBe at one with nature Backing on to the Blackdown hills and set in 180 acres of organic farmland, you will reallyfeel a part of the countryside. We have worked closely with nature when designing the park to enable you to enjoy all that she has to offer. We have a genuine love of the land and it has always been of the up most importance to us that the land remains unspoilt, and we feel our conscious effort to achieve this is noticeable. The peace and serenity of the land is maintained wonderfully. With only a small number of Lodges planned for the park, we feel this will enhance the overall experience for all our visitors. Great care has been taken in the design of the park’s layout, with each lodge being positioned side aspect, allowing them their own privacy, as well as spectacular views. Furthermore, the abundance of wildlife on site is a top priority to us and something that we certainly would not want to jeopardise. With foxes and deer frequently spotted around the park, Upton Lakes has a real sense of being at one with nature, a rare and priceless quality that we are not about to throw away. We have recently been awarded the ‘David Bellamy Silver Award for Conservation 2012/13’, a title which we are extremely proud of.

For the country-life, the good-life, and the wildlife!Get a real taste of the West CountryThe East Devon and Blackdown Hills areas of outstanding natural beauty are right on our doorstep and can be explored using a network of footpaths, bridleways, and cycle tracks which conceal an abundance of flora and fauna. Countryside pleasures include visiting ancient churches, browsing colourful street markets, and discovering rural crafts, not to mention foodie treats like sampling real ales in a thatched pub, or tucking into a Devon cream tea. The exceptional quality of Devon food and drink produced locally means that the area is becoming as famous for its award-winning restaurants, food festivals, farmers markets and vineyards, as it is for its stunning coast and Devon countryside. The historic city of Exeter has been voted one of the top places to eat out in the UK. With lush pastures and miles of coastline this is a region of wonderful flavours just waiting to be savoured.

Ordering your lodge is easy as 1,2,3.....

Choose and reserve your plot with a deposit of £1,000. This deposit secures the plot for an agreed period, during which time the plot will not be promoted to any other potential purchaser. During the reservation period, we will help you select the size and style of your holiday home from our range to suit your requirements.

Once the choice is made, you place an order and pay the first instalment, which is 50% of the total purchase price of your lodge. At this stage both parties sign the standard license & purchase agreement, granting permission to site the holiday home on Upton Lakes and detailing each party’s obligations. When your holiday home is ready, generally 12 to 16 weeks from the point of order, we will contact you to request the final payment (less retention) of £2,500 and to arrange a time for handover, at which point the balance is cleared.

Our PhilosophyUpton Farm has been in our family for three generations. We began as Dairy Farmers and over 15 years ago, decided to diversify, offering fishing and holidays instead.

Over the years we have put our heart and soul into making Upton Lakes what it is today. Our main aim is to provide ultimate relaxation in the Heart of Devon, without compromising the park’s natural beauty, keeping it true to it’s surroundings. We care passionately about the park and the service we offer our customers and are extremely proud to be Winners of the “Hoseasons Diamond award for Exceptional Quality and Outstanding Customer Service” throughout Devon, Somerset and Dorset for the second year running.

Our philosophy is simple. We value peace and tranquillity, relaxation and natural beauty. These factors have inspired us to make our land an environment where other people can enjoy the experiences and emotions that only spaces like this can evoke and after visiting us, we hope you feel this way too.
